My dad smoked like a chimney around all of us kids and we all turned out fine as long as you don't count the fact that all 5 of us were or are smokers. Most these days will err on the side of safety and not expose kids to contaminates or bad habits.
Yeah, i think them watching you smoke, and therefore possibly picking up the habit later, is the only thing bad about vaping (or smoking) around kids. But then again, I rather my kid (at 18 of course) vape then smoke any day!

My siblings and I are all about the same age as your family and I agree with you about the germs but was going to point out that that didn't really apply to vaping. When I sit in our ground floor small washroom and vape a few times it sure gets cloudy in there pretty fast, probably not the sort of clouds you want to surround the baby with.
Yeah, common sense would agree with me (???), vaping is ok around babies, just don't blow clouds in the room or anywhere near their sweet little faces.

Did you follow up with this study? He made mention of a full doctoral, peer reviewed paper in the works. Also, the lab results link doesn't work. Recently had a relative dismiss my insistence such was the case while she carried on about how harmful nicotine is while otherwise is factually true.
Can you tell me some more about what your talking about?

It is! Just look at these features:

"Features

1. Specially designed for electronic cigarette users.one-click operation
2. High quality silent fan and circular arc duct design to reduce noise
3. Air turbocharger system, circulating air, healthy and fun
4. High density smoke filter
5. High precise multi-point smoke density detection technology
6. Intelligent mode switching, energy efficient design"

And it's fun! When is the last time you had fun using an air filter?
Mabey it could be used to dry those just washed power heads?..

I place a high priority on the mental and emotional health of the parent. Just how high that priority is is up to the person. Parenting seems to be an endless series of judgement calls. Is it better to vape in the house, or step outside for 10 minutes every hour or so? Choices.

There is a commercial running lately. It shows a kid turning off a lamp while dad is reading and later turning off the water as dad is shaving. Dad smiles...I would not be smiling. Kid has decided that it is his job to force his parents to conserve energy and it seems dad is OK with that. When did it become OK for the kids to be in charge. The world seems to be upside down these days.

My daughter is in kindergarten. They have a "wellness" policy for food at the school. You're not allowed to bring treats for the other students, and they're supposed to have healthy food. A couple weeks ago I put a cookie in her snack box, as a treat for her. When I picked her up, she very seriously told me that she wasn't supposed to have sweets at school so she didn't eat her snack that day. It wasn't the teacher that said anything, this was all her. It did give me a bit of a hitler youth vibe to be honest.
