This is to show off pics of the mods created with my old machine tools .



First try with iron , 47,2mm / dia 23mm and 45,5mm / 22mm





Brass and bronze connections gold plated with passion

those are real nice and you would not believe how bad I want to get a mill , it my be old but as long as it still works it doesn't matter.And it looks like a nice size to.

Old and nice lathe isn't it ? Works slowly but gives good results .

Sometimes a bit strange



with a lot of irregularity ....



But can do very clean job , with time



I like to play with the different textures given by the lathe for the same metal

Lovely mods, they really are small. What is the make on your lathe? I saw a similar one at the end of summer on sale at harbor freight for 399, something like a 'multi purpose machine'. Too bad I saw it at the end of summer, not the beginning.

Unfortunatly , I know nothing about the lathe maker .....
It seems to be a very little one , diseapered during WW2

Nice looking mods! I love old machinery. My lathe is from 1937 and is still going. I'm sure it was more precise when new, but it is still fun to use.

Yep ! decision is taken . I have open a facebook page today as "Avril Mods " ( less easy for me than working metal ....)
All the administrative procedures will be made at the begining of january .
Actually 14 of my mods are travelling with friends or familly and my folder of drawings is full of projects.... So , lets go !

As you look like old lathe lovers I will post pictures ...

I have installed a warmer in my workshop so .... that's official I'm a profesional modder .
