Adjustable 510 Out

I made the mistake of adjusting the new 510 too far and now I can't get it to screw back in. I've been at this all day & can't get the threads to line up for it to screw back in. Can anyone help? Gotta say, I like my green Reo without the adjustable. Hits better IMO.

You are remembering they are reverse thread. Lefty Tighty Righty Loosey?

No idea... might be the reverse threads.. you try screwing it in turning it to the left? Also might have to pull the tube and screw it on from the bottom.

Tube just pulls off and you just push the tube back in.

Through the magic of posting to the Reo Mods thread on ECF, my 510 pin screwed back in!! I should have posted earlier!!

I pulled the Allen wrench out a little while pushing down on the pin with a blunt needle tip and it screwed right back in. I think my issue was that I was pushing down on the Allen wrench and it was going through that little pin since it has a hole at the bottom. Don't know if that makes any sense. It's hard to explain.

Yep, makes sense. Its a reverse thread allen screw, with a through hole.
Rob must have a custom wrench for assembling these.
Glad you got yours back together........

If you put a piece of tape at the end of your wrench leaving just enough to grab the adjustable post it makes it much easier . The tape forms a stop
