I think I might need to carry the wrench with me. I had the Reo in my pocket and it seems the screw adjusted while I was walking around. It still fires, which is great, because I'm at work, but the atty turned so the air holes are in different places.

All it takes is a note to Rob and I'd bet he'd send you one.
True, but I don't need to bother him for that. Plus, REO # 1 comes back from the spa today with the 510 upgrade, so I'm thinking he probably sent one along for that.

Trick is to get the atty on there nice and tight.. make sure to remove the top cap first and then snug it good and slap the top back on. Don't try to tighten it with the top on as you'll just be turning the top cap.

I wonder if there is some type of food safe "locktite" like substance we could use to make that pin a bit more difficult to adjust. I was thinking maybe leave the pin soaking in a thin bath VG on a hot sunny day so that it might get gummed up and not be so darn easy to move. I too have had an atty come loose while unscrewing the top and totally messed up the connection. Luckily found a similar Allen bit here at the office that kept me vaping.

No need to carry the allen if you'd seat your atty snug against the grub screw. None of mine ever come loose (so far 7 of my Reos have the adj 510). How much is "snug" but not too snug may be trial and error depending on past experiences. I just seat mine the same as I do on the old 510's that also never come loose... does not damage or move the grub screws. Taking the atty off the revers threaded grub does screw it in a little sometimes... but my atty's are dedicated to a Reo so I seldom take them off.

My Odins tend to turn until they stop, and there doesn't seem to be any more room to tighten, unless I'm using an o-ring. I did have a gap though, because I was trying to line up the air holes. I'll adjust it tonight, and see what I come up with. Thanks, everybody, for the suggestions.
