Just did my third refill on this mod. Not sure how advisable this may or may not be but I did it while charging. With that red light glowing there was absolutely no issue seeing the full mark with my nearly colorless juice.

The only hint of a dry hit I've gotten with my 65v/35p was when I vaped the first tank too low. Since then whenever I insert the stem I make sure to line up one of the top juice holes on the coil to show in the window, this is my refill marker.

Another thing to love about this rig. First tank I've owned that can be refilled directly from my 60ml bottles with their big fat filler tips!

I like your filling idea. Advisable or not I'm gonna try it as well. I will just need to be careful but most likely will not overfill for once which also isn't advisable. :)

I've noticed in (I think) every video I've seen that those guys can't seem to get the top/mouthpiece to seat flush? Anyone have this issue in the real world or are all the reviewers just dorks?
No problem with mine seating flush. :)

Well I tried a coil rebuild today, did not work as expected. :( I tried using KGD (just the outer layer of a sheet) and it flooded like crazy. What they are using seems denser, and restricts the juice flow, I am guessing. Going to try again tomorrow using what I pulled off that they were using, to see if it is the material, or something I am doing wrong.

Here is a picture taken apart after 3 tanks full, I use gunky juice.

Here it is ready to finish putting back together.

I will post updates tomorrow (if i have time to try) when I try the 4th time to do this.

Got my second one from FT today  Tracking still has not updated beyond arrived in country, but it took 17 days from order date to delivery by Singapore Post.

I got mine today from sweet-vapes. It is a warm vape, but not hot. I put a new flavor in it. So I can't compare it to using it in another tank. But I can taste all the flavors in juice. I am gonna use it for a couple days to test it. But I think I found something to replace my worn out VV V3's. Seems like a good driving the car mod, small and light.

Sounds like you tried exactly what I had in mind. Using the outer layer of cotton only.

Which way did you cut the cotton? Normally for anything else I would cut along with the 'grain' or same direction as the fibers. For this I was thinking of cutting perpendicular to the fibers so they would run vertical same as the coil. Sorry to hear it wasn't as simple as I'd hoped.:( Maybe we'll need blue foam?

It would be impossible to wrap it if you did not cut with the grain, it would pull apart. I really just might have some blue foam from 2009, just need to check my junk drawer.  But not sure it would work. Got to work on this, I WILL figure it out, just might take me a little while. :)

Edit: Call Out to Everyone....
When you get one gunked up, take it apart and try to identify the material the coil is wrapped with. Thanks :)

Well my mini has already crapped out. Yesterday a few times I noticed when I quit puffing it continued to fire. It did that several times. Now today it won't work at all. So I have a neat little useless PCC. Perhaps I will buy a mini without the PCC to get some use out of it. Or perhaps not.

The regular iCare is still working but I'm not nearly as optimistic about it as I was. I have gone back to using my old, dependable if somewhat clunky usual gear.

I'm afraid these will end up in the junk drawer.

Not good to hear. Being they are cheap, it's not surprising. Hopefully most will have better luck. I had been wondering about something sticking and continuing to fire, and what will happen if it does. Most of these don't seem to have any built in protections. I'm not ready to go crazy on these things yet. I just want something small and light for a shirt pocketable devise. I may get a little more expensive one to try out for a comparison.

Where did you get mini from. Will they replace it?

Well that really sucks. :( @oplholik got a regular size new one that didn't work, and now your mini craps out, how many days did you use it?

Would never hurt to try and see if they will replace it.

The mini I purchased from MVS. I see they don't have them in stock but may contact them anyway. They do say there is a 30 day limited warranty.

I agree at least they are inexpensive. I used it for three or four days. I was just hoping for more. :(

I would contact them, 3 or 4 days is a defective product in my book.
