I try to be a polite vaper, and I agree with those suggestions.
Written by Jennifer Waldera. Wonder who she is. It's from their Blog section? What I think is kinda weird are the smokers who hate vapers. I see them at work fairly often since I have to vape with the smokers. I think they feel threatened.
I think it's a mix of things. Vaping, even though it's been around for several years, is still the new kid on the block. They don't quite know how to react to it. They don't understand it. All they know about it is what they heard on the news. So they must fear and ridicule it.

Apparently the vaping industry is getting concerned about the impressions that some of their customers are giving to the public.
It would make sense for them to do so. After all, there are a lot of potential customers in the public.

"While the vapor produced by some eCigs is fairly minimal, there are others that can create massive clouds in just one breath."

Sounds more like they are worried cloud chasers are going to scare away customers. And create problems for their brand.

And this makes them different from any other large company?
You are 100% correct thats why I support small business and people that use their noodle to actually make something vs copy and profit. But thats a whole separate thread we could dig up and revisit.

if we stop supporting them they will die and go away but it seems people dont care much and go to what ever is convenient giving no thought to the future or how who they support and buy from might impact things.
But thats just me and my view on things.

I cannot disagree with that. However in any industry it starts out with many small players and winds up with just a few large ones. Way back when we had dozens of different US auto manufacturers. The consolidation, mergers and acquisition thing is a long established way of business life in the USA and world at large.

I have to agree but I don't like the trend and it seems to have alot of not so good consequences from what I see so I will not support those company's weather its ecig or other wise yes I have not been to walmart in over 10 years ;)
I doubt it makes much difference I am way way in the minority although its nice to see Dollar General is one of the fastest growing stores in America not that I go there ether, but its nice to see people are getting tired of the giants ruling. Any way I do what I do so I can sleep better at night.

Whenever i vape somewhere where i plan on staying for more than 5 minutes and people are within 10ft~ of me, i ask if they mind. Everytime ive asked i get a positive reply and it turns into a small conversation about it which i dont mind. My rules; dont vape when children are around, parents with strollers, (pregnant woman) next to an outside eating place, or where there are elderly.

Dollar General is a mega company as well, they just build small stores.
And run the mom and pop little corner stores out of business.
yup agreed I just like seeing wally world get some competition. But its a shame some of our countries biggest employers pays minimum wage to part time employees . OK I gotta quit or my soap box will come out
