Ladiekali, do you know who the vendor was?

I've shopped with the vendor from eBay who carried the Cerotanks MANY times, with zero probs. In fact, they would get a very high recommendation from me.

zapped! Good to see you. :)

The Phiniac tanks are HoH tanks, actually. If it's still the same, Phini got HoH blem tanks, and with their absolutely incredible eye for design, just basically did their magic over any imperfections with the art. It's the same authentic glass, with Phini's marvelous work on it. I have several, as does DPL. I'd say we'd agree that we LOVE them!!

I will basically be getting all my replacement tanks (unless I need to bump up order for free shipping @P Provape) from Phiniac as they have great CS!

INDEED!!!

The one I "popped", by the way, was NOT from the good folks at Phiniac (nor from HOH, nor from ProVape). All of mine from those sources remain intact, and all in perfect fit (even with the OMG Rings). This one was a bit on the tight side from the git-go.

T'was inevitable, I expect.

never broke a Kabuki glass yet

Be very afraid. :)

On this same topic a few weeks back, I was saying the same thing and wondering why people were having so many problems.

I've broken two since then. There seems to be a squad of invisible goblins who target quartz tanks so one can never be sure they won't come to call.

I've used GP Salt n' Pepper carto tanks for some time now and their glass is so fragile I have broken very many over the years. So far with the Kabuki tanks, no breaks. But because of my regular breakage with the SnPs, I have a habit of taking forever to remove them and being extremely careful.

I am a charter member of the “I have broken Kabuki glass club” all when I put the top cap on. Once a chuck of glass came out in the shape of a triangle. I had one that I accidentally knocked off the counter and it did not break. Never did figure that one out. Ordered a few more phrosty no-design Phiniacs the other day — a spare black, a replacement silver and gold, a new color for me.

I FINALLY BROKE ONE!!! I was feeling SO almost-inadequate, but I finally did it!

Phwew. I was beginning to think something was wrong with me.

[emoji15]

I can't say I'm deserving of any praise though, because I barely touched it. But one BIG OLD PIECE just POPPED right off!

It was kinda cool.

Too bad it was one that I REALLY liked. The newest of the lot, and gift from from KD. For THAT part, I am sad. [emoji17]

No sadness, DPL. It just makes room for more gifties..... but not those tanks! ;)

Oddly, I have never broken original Kabuki glass. I have broken a Phiniac custom job though. Seems the one I received may have had a flaw cause it split right down the middle as i slipped it over the top o-ring on the first try. I still highly recommend the company though due to the exceptional customer service I have had in the past. I did not seek any type of refund or replacement on the split glass because I could not rule out it was not my fault in some fashion. It still baffles me to this day though cause it has been my only causality in the Kabuki glass wars (and I rotate 4 Kabukii at any given time).
