I never did check capacity on my test version. Maybe later today I can as well. I want to rewick so I will vape it empty first to check as well. But, bear in mind I don't yet have the final version.

I'm pretty sure when I tested the original, it was 3.0ml on the nose (dry).

Another interesting thing I learned... At least on the newer model, the top portion (the part with the juice fill holes in it) has two separate thread sizes -- one for the top (where the part that holds the drip tip screws on) and one for the bottom (the part that connects to the cage). These threads match the different threads on the top and bottom of the cage. So if you're not paying attention you can screw the top portion (albeit upside down) to the bottom of the cage and end up thinking you've lost your mind trying to put it all back together and not being able to screw the cage onto the base. ;)

I also noticed that Subtanksupply has a pre-order for the alleria as well at $34.99. With shipping I'm guessing it's right at the same price point as the ebay sellers.

Dual 26/34 kanthal claptons, 2 mm ID, 6 wrap at .32 ohms. Wicked with Japanese cotton loose in the channels.

I'm going to play with it for a while then I'll come back and give my thoughts. Initial impressions are very good though!

I don't need a tank. My Lemo 2 has been doing just fine....:?:

Maybe I should hide my wallet. That black one would look good on my Fuchai-200w.

I've been vaping up the Alleria for the past six hours so here are some of my initial thoughts...

First the build and juice - dual 26/34 Kanthal Claptons, 2 mm ID, 6 wraps at .32 ohms and vaped at 35 watts on a VTC mini. Vaping a 70/30 VG/PG DIY juice, 3 mg, TFA Strawberry Ripe at 20% (DELICIOUS!). This is my standard build for my five Billow V2's and the juice is what I always use first in any new tank to best compare the vape experience.

Cons...
* 3 ml capacity - I've topped it off three times in 6 hours, probably gone through 7 mls total so far.
* The machining is a little rough on the top cap and airflow control - certainly not the worst but edges will grap your fingers slightly.
* Machine oil - needed a good scrub, nothing unusual and cleaned up nicely.
* Heats up - The Alleria gets warm with repeated use, not uncomfortable but those with a Griffin may know what I'm talking about. The drip tip is thick delrin and stays nice and cool.
* Proprietary drip tip for juice flow control - I knew this going in and it's a great drip tip so I'm happy but it's the only way to operate the inner chimney. Any 510 tip will fit but won't control the juice flow.

Pros...
* Easy building - Velocity. I used 2 mm ID claptons but it certainly has the space to take larger coils. I bet I could squeeze 3 mm ID standard coils in it.
* Easy top fill - Works like a charm, close down the inner chimney, unscrew the top and pour juice into the two very large fill holes.
* Juice flow control - Turns with just the right amount of resistance and is fine threaded so dialing in your preferred setting is easy and stays in place. Roxy is right it doesn't have to be opened very much.
* Airflow control - Turns smooth and completely shuts off the air, stops at full open and full closed.
* Grippy top cap and airflow - I listed machining as a con but it's also a plus, absolutely no struggle gripping and moving either one.
* See through - I love having the ability to see what's going on and adjust accordingly.
* Flavor - Terrific! Right on par with my Billows, Bachelor, Bellus, Griffin and Crius.

So far this a great RTA and I'm very happy with it. Airflow is right in the middle of most of my RTA's, more than a Billow V2, less than a Griffin and about equal to a Bellus. Dialing in the juice flow can take a little trial and error, at about 4 mm's open I leaked one drop of juice and turned it down until it was just 1 to 2 mm's open and that fixed it. The Alleria is very solid and the quality of the materials is excellent. The 3 ml capacity is low but filling is quick and easy. Wicking is also pretty fool proof, thanks to the juice flow control and glass chimney. First tank ever that you can tune the tank to the wicking versus the other way around.

Bottom line this is a great RTA, one of my new favorites. If you don't mind the low capacity and proprietary drip tip for juice control, get one it's awesome!

I received my black updated Alleria today, the improvements are perfect. Augvape listened to the feedback off of the prototype versions and have really put together a great rta. The flavor is outstanding and you want find a much better looking tank out there imho.

I took some photos today as I built my black Alleria to help another member with his Griffin, but they belong in this thread.

Step 1: cut your wick tails. I make them just long enough to fit under the wick ring once they're tucked in.

Step 2: I cut an angle off each tail closest to the posts.

A picture after cutting the angle of both tails.

Step 3: tuck your tails into the wick slots. Make certain none of the tails are in or on the airslots beneath the coils. I have best results with the tails sitting just behind the wick ring, but little or none protruding from beneath it.

3.0mm standard coils fit fine. 3.0mm claptons require a bit of force and creative bending. I wouldn't suggest those. I'd try some 3.5mm standard coils, but I'm too busy vaping. :)

My only peev here is the lack of grip on the top fill portion of the tank (the small part between the top cap and the cage). If your top cap bonds to this piece, it's a pain to get a grip on to remove the top cap itself without opening the entire top of the tank.
* See through - I love having the ability to see what's going on and adjust accordingly.
^^ that x 10,000.
