It probably had a lot to do with Californians moving there over the years.
Something I may well do myself some day, because it's getting to be like Florida around here these days.

I hate heat, but I hate humidity even more.


Anyway, if I moved to Washington or Oregon, I would NOT be one of THOSE people.
I would rather support bringing back sanity rather than advancing the "brittle people" objectives.
