Cloud Beast Flavor Not Right

I have a TFV8 Cloud Beast that I just cleaned and installed a new coil. Primed the coil, started at low watts and moved up, but I'm getting a dry taste and I'm not getting the same flavor I'm used to. What am I doing wrong?

Could be just a bad coil if your doing everything like you did before and it tasted good.

You did it just right. The problem may very well be the coil, not you. How long have you been using it and still getting a dry taste?

I tried another new coil and same thing happened. They were both brand new coils

What happens if you keep using it for a day? Does the dry taste persist? Also, are these coils from the same package?

If it's just a dry taste, it may be just that "new cotton" flavor. Give it a day or so at a low-ish wattage and see how it does. My bet is that the odd taste goes away.

Rant: This Japanese Organic Cotton Craze is fueled by a belief that it's the purest form of cotton evah; that nothing wicks better; that gone are all the chemicals... yada yada yada. Any processed material is going to retain properties imparted by how it was produced.

And, if it's really organically grown, the properties that material had before processing will vary from crop to crop and plant to plant.

The question I've always had: Just how big can an organic cotton farm be on an island nation of 128 million souls with an arable land area that's one-third the size of Sweet Home Alabama?
