CONVENTIONAL COILS HAVE A PROBLEM

The problem is that the top of your coil is not getting the same air flow as the bottom which is much closer to the air hole. A vortex is created at the top of your coil that makes it run hotter. Ever notice that the gunk buildup is worse on the top of your cylindrical coil? Using an RDA the side air flow takes care of this problem, but in a bottom air flow RTA it does not. I designed a coil where all the metal directly gets the same air hitting it, and Don't have to snake cotton through it either. I tuck it in through the opened top of the coil design. I use twister 30 AWG and it's perfect for mtl 14 to 20 watts with the clieto 120 or smok tfv8. .06 ohms or less with twisted 28 AWG. Yes mtl heaven with any large sub tank. Stuff cotton in the extra air and juice holes, and put a cotton ball in to fill the unused space in the build area. I will post pics of my builds soon for anyone into it.
