Gassy Farty or Gassy Burpy? If it's burping you're doing you are just swallowing some vapor/air when you vape. If it's farty you are, then you are using your PV wrong

Farting. Not stinky but long and loud ones. Seriously, im not trolling. They are 3 to 5 second long massive ones. My daughter who is three is wanting to pull my finger constantly.
Actually, it is because since you are no longer smoking, your gut is not moving as quickly as it once did. There is something in cigarette smoke that makes your gut/colon move quicker, (there is a technical term for this- I swear). Since it is now not moving as quickly, the food in your colon has more time to .. well, ferment. More fermentation = more gas build-up. One thing that will help is to make sure you drink lots of water and have frequent bowel movements. It may help you to take something like Miralax for a wee bit of time. It helps your colon empty quicker by drawing water into your feces. Won't give you cramps, either.

I started vaping at 36 mgs nicotine. It gave me indigestion, nausea, and headaches. I moved down to 24 mgs. I still experienced indigestion at that level. At 18 mgs I don't experience any of those symptoms. It may be your nicotine level.

Funny story - I was asleep one night after I had been vaping for a couple of weeks when I let one rip. It was so bad that when the smell woke me up, and I mean WIDE AWAKE, I jumped out of bed and had to flee the room!

Thank you, Thank YOU one and all! This made my night and I am going to bed. DH says I ran him out the other morning from doing just what ya'll are talking about. I am two months in and have been in the middle of a nasty gastrointestinal episode. This happens to me from time to time and I never thought to blame it on vaping. I just figured it was due to all the great fruits that are in season and all the salads I am eating since it is so hot outside and I don't want to heat the kitchen/house. If it can't be grilled or taken from the produce department/garden, I am not interested!
I laughed repeatedly as I read this thread. It is great that we can discuss this here. It's a fact of life and many things throw our systems out of whack. All the nasty chemicals of smoking had to do something to us as Tiger said. We are establishing a new homeostasis or balance and it will take our body some time to get there!

God I hope not.....or at least my wife doesn't find this thread. There's a list taped to the fridge titled "Things Dad's not allowed to eat before a road trip". It might be the artificial sweeteners used in some juices. Sees sugarless candies give me the worst gas, I read it was because of the artificial sweeteners.
