Thank you! If so many flavors destory plastic though, why do they even bother with plastic and not just use metal or glass? Does plastic do something different for us?

Plastic is just cheap to manufacture. It's a hold over from when there were only dozen of juice flavors available, not hundreds or thousands like today. It's mostly essential oils, extracted from the "real thing", that can cause this. Back in the day the only "real thing" in flavors was artificial ;)

I have one (out of many) metal Mini Nova tank...just for these types of juices...but I really do not like it! It being metal, you can not see your juice level just by looking at the tank...so you have to open it up to see how much juice is left...but, that Nova Mini is just so small, even by taking the top off, you really can't see down in there...so I have to take a tooth pick to stick down in there just to find out what my level is. That's why I only have one metal tank...just too much trouble!

I agree, I have a mini nova too - I like the vape and the look of it, but it's a pain guessing how much juice is in there. That's why I'm going to just *have* to buy a pro-tank. I saw them for around $14 the other day, and now the hype has died down a little, I think it's time.

I wonder of its just those flavors from mbv that crack tanks or those flavors in general.

And how long does it take for it to ruin a tank?

Forum member The Ocelot has a great blog piece about tank crackers http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/the-ocelot/3786-eeekkk-its-melting.html

Honestly, if I lose a cheap CE4 or 5 I'm not too worried, but I am more worried if, as it damages the tank, it releases any nasty chemicals that I inhale. For that reason, I'm going pyrex.

I have two metal tank minis and one regular size. I can tell when they need topping up by taste, if you have to tilt and swirl more to get a good flavor, it's time to top up. If I want to check the level I use a flashlight to peer into the tank.

Sometimes I think I get a plasticky taste with the plastic ones, so I much prefer the metal ones. I think they look pretty cool as well.

Same problem with that type of flavor from any vendor. With a CE4, the cracks started appearing within 30 minutes when I tried root beer in it. I didn't realize that root beet was one of those flavors.

Thanks. I'm guessing not all plastics are the same either. I got some peach dekang and my eroll tank is doing just fine. I'll keep an eye on it though.

You may want to make sure what you are getting, if you find it for 14 bucks...is the one that comes in the nice Box with 2 extra heads. Some places are now selling them cheaper, but they don't come in the Nice box...the picture shows just reg wrapping...anyhow, some people have put in the review sections that they ordered the cheaper ones and when they got it, compared it side to side with the Normal Price one that came in the nice box...and they weren't built the same. Said the metal looked thinner and something about the threading.

Anyhow, I was supposed to get my first Protank delivered today, along with an iClear 30...the Post Office sent it to the wrong town..they are telling me it will, hopefully, be to me by Wed of next week! :(

I have been vaping their afternoon delight for a few weeks. Good stuff although I am pretty immune to it now. Their grahm cracker was amazing but I lost the flavor of that pretty quick :( I am expecting a new delivery from them this week. I forget what I got but I remember I ordered the Slimer juice Hi-c one (ector juice?) since many people recommended it as well as 2 or 3 other flavors.

This! Their juices are pretty good right out of the mail, but are even better after being steeped for a week...tobaccos sometimes 2 weeks. If I were you, I'd put each bottle in a small zip lock baggie, get all the air out then give them a hot water bath...making the water back hot when it cools down...do that for a while, take the caps off and put them in a dark cabinet...going back once or twice a day and give them all a good shake.

What flavors did you order?

I'm new to vaping & just learned about steeping but I understand the general idea of it.

I did a slightly different "hot bath" method with my "Madagascar Vanilla" that I got from MBV

I boiled water, let it sit for like 5 minutes, then put my bottle in the pan with cap on (it wasn't submerged, the water was under the drip tip) & I let it sit there untouched for an hour & a half. Shook it up, let it settle, loaded up a new tank & I was disappointed because it tasted like I actually lost flavor! So I think I'll just stick to keeping my e-juice in a cool dark place occasionally shaking & letting the bottle breath lol
