I have all three of the colors already, so it's not urgent that I get more. I didn't think I'd like the cyan, but I actually like it very much. I always like black mods, and the white VTC mini with the white Mega on top is so pretty I hate to use it...lol. If I do get one, it'll be white so I can use one and keep another for a pretty future.

ETA: I also have a red VTwo mini with a red Tron S tank. Purdy.
Heh. My Minis are either gray or gold.

Busardo says he ran some kind of scan on the Primo's case which indicated that the case was made of nickel. I wonder if your hands will turn black? ;) (Anyone ever play nickel slots?)

Yep, and to others, like you, it might be a deal breaker. I do have some SS wire, but I'd say 95 percent of my coils are kanthal. Can't say I can really tell the difference in the two wires for my style of vaping. TC just isn't part of my life.

I have never had any of my Provaris updated, like Mike, they work just fine for me the way they are. I bought a small roll of SS, and tried it, now it's in the back of the drawer for an emergency, which I'll probably never have with all the Kanthal I've got.

Yeah, I did the random.
I don't have either of the 2 colors so I have no preference.
I was going to order another ego v2 tank anyway this month, so I couldn't pass this deal up.
I don't care about tc either.
But they should be updatable if I change my mind in the future though.

Please don't read this as another aggravating push to try somethin ya don't want. I don't push nobody. Just sharing.

Heh heh, until 8-10 days ago I was right there with y'all. Only switched to SS so I could build lower and still have some surface area. Then Figgered it's TC capable why not give it a go? Fell into the trap! I'm really happy with the fact that the only button I touch on my Picos anymore is the fire button. My Smok is another story. It won't allow me to set the watts in TC mode. It autodetects the coil and sets the watts accordingly. Well it cain't read SS fer (you know). So it's been demoted to battery charger status again.

Just a heads up. Have you checked the description on that site? Apparently it's first generation firmare? Doesn't do SS in TC mode. No mention of upgradeability? Just in case any of that matters to anyone.
Any evic board will support AF, which is much better than stock firmware anyway. If that is what you are talking about...

I switched over to tc-only long before the alleged carcinogens at higher temps thing, but I mostly use it bc I'm ADD and always vape my tanks down to nothing. Guess how many times I've used nickel or titanium? Or regular 316? Yet it's still a setting on every TC board. Never understood that, someone should let them know that there are much better materials out there.

Yeah, me too. I vape my tanks down to nothing all the time now and can then switch flavors without having to re-wick. :)

What makes the Arctic Fox firmware so good?

Glad you like it!
As for me I don't see tc in my future since the only rebuilding I can manage so far is the clr coils.
Had to give up on building my pt2 coils since they're too small.
I can always just re-wick the clr if I need too.
That's why vaping is so awesome, there are so many options!

Not really trying to convince you to try TC, but just so you know, rebuilding a CLR with SS316L is really no different or harder than with Kanthal. IMO, anyways.

CLRs are my 'go to' coils. Recently acquired my first Subtank Mini thru a trade and have to say it's the equal of the EO/CLR combo in its Vape. But the screws are a pain that I can live without.

Yeah, I bought a STM over a year ago and tried the rba.
That was my first attempt at rebuilding.
I have big fingers and they're numb so those tiny screws were a no go for me.
Btw I just buy my coils from FT at 1.8 ohms.

A thousand :shock::shock::shock:

Yup me too. Seriously, why do reviewers feel the need to go through the whole packaging thing and so much other non-essential stuff?

I actually like the way Phil presents his videos and all the info he includes. I'm also one who might just want the menu (I know appx. where THAT will be), or the :thumb::nah:, and I know that's always after the graphs. There have been times I found the graphs useful and interesting. Not a LOT of times, but the FF is always an option.

Ok, I'm kind of with ya on the unpacking of the box, but some might find that valuable.

and always vape my tanks down to nothing

Often I do that as well, but without TC. :2cool:

ewwww I used to do that before. Vaping with cotton is a disaster for me without TC.

Ergo my smile. I use rayon and (can/occasionally) vape a tank down to empty (there is still fluid in the wicking). No TC, me.

Oh trust me, I can burn rayon just as black as cotton.

You should see my gf's coils, she changes them like once a month and she uses rayon bc it lasts longer, but she only uses TC until too much gunk builds up on the coil and switches back to wattage. By the time she changes it it's all burnt and shrunk down to nothing, parts of it are barely touching the coil and she's all "there's something wrong with my kayfun it leaks when I fill it"

CLR Coil Accessory Pack Unboxing
Totally Wicked is having a sale, code CINCO33 for 33% off, so I bought 10 more five packs of the premade coils with wick. Only rebuilt two (I only have five CLR's, more on the way from FT). It was pretty easy, though I did have to adjust one coil lead with tweezers to get it flat in the slot for a good connection. At 33% off that's about $2.14 for a five pack of coils/wick if you buy 5 or more packs, that's well worth it to me for the cost savings and most of all the time savings. The wick that comes with it is organic, with extra specks lol
I built one with my fav cotton bacon V2 wick, and the other with the organic, haven't vaped the organic yet though.
I also picked up another Amor tank, but that didn't get discounted, probably because they are already heavily discounted at 10 bucks.

Don't think I can't make coils, I recoiled a myjet pod today, no easy task. A kayfun and a CLR coil build is a piece of cake compared to that. I just don't want a coil building job. haha
I'm loving both the Ego One V2 and the Amor tank using the CLR coils, I can't believe I waited this long to swap over from Nautilus coils to CLR coils for improved flavor with easy rebuilds and a very good cost savings for day to day convenience vaping. Glad you folks kept this thread going so I could finally pay attention after a couple of years, lol.
Here's the package:
