FDA/NIH funded study finds War on vaping (by Obama’s DHHS and Big Pharma shills since 2009) has duped 40% of Americans to inaccurately believe vapor products are as harmful or more harmful than cigarettes, and 68% to inaccurately believe vapor products are addictive, finds huge increase in inaccurate beliefs about vapor products from 2012 to 2015.

Authors wisely conclude “The study highlights the need to design public health messages that accurately interpret the scientific data on the potential harm of e-cigarettes and clearly differentiate the absolute from the relative harm of e-cigarettes.”

Interestingly, two authors of the study were Michael Eriksen (who served as Director of CDC's Office of Smoking and Health in the Clinton administration, who has been funded by DHHS since he went to GSU, and who has been critical of vaping in recent years) and Terry Pechacek (who has worked at CDC or as a DHHS funding recipient for 3 decades, and who previously criticized vaping).

Might want to check those links Bill. They lead to a study on Herpes Vaccine.
It is only the second link that leads to a pdf file on herpies. LMAO

I am glad to see some non-bias truth from some US researchers now that the FDA believes it has won the war. That study illustrates the amount of harm the CDC and FDA anti-ecigarette campaign has caused to smokers wishing to quit or cut down.

Thanks Kent.

While its nice that more DHHS funded researcher/activists publicly acknowledge vaping is far less harmful than smoking, and correctly state that people should be truthfully informed about vapor products and vaping, I'm not aware that any of these same DHHS funding recipients have criticized any of the many hundreds (er thousands) of false and misleading fear mongering claims Obama's DHHS has made about vaping since 2009 (and about the FDA vapor deeming ban since 2011).
