That snake skin looks sweet. I was gonna use a skin but I fix cars all day. The silicon cover has saved my sig 150tc many times.
My vt200 has been getting left home most days cause I don't want to scratch it up so soon.

When you say that I had quite interesting conversation with few people. May I ask you what Amps did you charge it (0.5A or 1A)?
Personally Im charging it 0.5A and have no inaccurate readings so far (14.43). Basicly battery indicator go down to ZERo and after 2-3 puffs ''Weak Battery'' (BINGO - 14.43)
Ill try to charge it with 1A today. 0.5A takes way to long to charge it but Im still digging into escribe so it was connected to my PC. Since now Im going for 1A wall charger and see whats going on.
Mine seems pretty close using 14.43 and I charge it with the wall charger for my galaxy s6 active. It does kick in when there is a sliver of battery left on the meter but I have my cell cutoff at 3.3 so I figured that was why
Actually I have charged it using both a wall charger 1A and computer USB 0.5A. I noticed right away that 14.43 was way off, I had atleast 20% battery left according to the meter when it signaled weak battery. So I tried 13.32, which was more accurate but not 100%. And now I am at 12.77 and it seems pretty spot on. Last night before going to bed I had the "weak battery" signal, and my meter showed just a teeny weeny bit left of the bar. I am not sure but maybe the battery life will improve over time with a few more charges.
14.43 working great for me. But I let my batteries fully cycle 3 times (full charge to 3.09 cut off). Lipos need to cycle a few times before they show their true potential.

OK so I got curious on the battery size cause the life on these sucks. The measurements I got are 2. 5/8 x 1.1/8 x 3/4 . I converted to mm which is 67mm x 29mm x 19mm . Still looking for a battery to fit . I also noticed in side the case there is tabs to hold the pack in place. If u were to remove the tabs u might be able to get a bigger pack in there. I'll try to post pics but hasn't been working as they are over the 1mb limit. I know hcigar should be selling spares soon but I'd like to find a pack same size maybe more mah.
Yeah just double checked I got 67mm l 29mm h 19 mm w . I just sent max amp a email about getting some custom packs made. When I get a reply I'll let u know . If u find something let me know. I do know vapenw.com has a post for spare Batts but there not available yet.
I have been searching for replacement lipo as well. Weird thing is that for a similar size that fits the VT case the only lipo available are in the 700-900 10C range. So either Hcigar has developed new smaller sized lipo's or the included one is not 1300mah but something smaller. My guess is a 1000mah 10C battery.
Yeah it's for sure not a 1300mAh, atleast not in mine. I've gone down to 1100mAh setting in escribe cuz it still showed a tiny bit of battery left last night when I had the weak battery alert.

They definitely said they used a custom battery for the box. I'm waiting on max amps to get back to me about custom batt. I'll keep u guys posted.

Weird...I hope mine improves over time then. I have only charged/drained it fully 5 times so far. I am not complaining over the battery time tho, cuz it lasts me roughly 2 days on normal days, being at work and such. But still, I would like to have an accurate meter at the specified battery capacity.
I'm not sure what u have done with escribe . I ran case analyzer and battery anaylyser. I also set my mod resistance. I pretty much config everything I could. Running the analysis of everything took a few hrs each. But once it was all done it seem to make the box run alot better.
Pretty big dissapointment that hcigar shipped these mods without properly configuring them .
What really made me perform all these tasks was sweet spot vapors. They make there own custom ti wire for temp control . They have a post on evolve forum about the importance of all these setting being configured to use tc properly.
If u can find the post it would be a good read for anyone interested in what and why to do these things. I wrote to hcigar asking for the values we need to input but never heard back. If I do i will post all the values on here for everyone else. If u want to copy mine when I get outta work I'll sign up for imigr. So I can post pic of my escribe screen shots.

Max Amps is not a battery manufacturer, they just rewrap packs and slap their brand name on them (assembler).

Even if they're willing to locate the pack that you want, are you willing to drop $45 on one?
Hcigar has just recently released spare packs for the VT200, wholesale under $10....retail, maybe $15-$20?

They just emailed back to tell me the only pack they have is 800 mah. 3s 40c for 35 bucks. I'd just buy the hcigar ones. I can't find them though. Two places that list them don't have a release date. But they are 20 dollars.

They were released already, bout a week ago. Vendors should have them once the Chinese Holiday is over (2nd week of Oct).
The pack I linked to was meant as a heads-up on what kind of a price that Max Amps is gonna charge you for their packs. But a custom pack is definitely gonna cost you even more than what they already offer.
Also, they're gonna have a minimum order requirement for customization....probably 100 - 500 packs.
Yeah there stuff is a Lil pricey but I've never had a pack go bad from them and I have a quite a few . And on top of the quality they have lifetime replacement so it kinda evens out.
As for the hcigar ones I been looking and seen them for 20 retail just no release date. Until I can get one I'm gonna keep looking.
