I see all these TC mods popping up all over the place but how does the system work. If you for instance have the snow wolf 200 and you set your power for 200 but set the temp for 375 ( the universal baking temp lol) does it limit the power of the 200 watts or does it only provide enough power to achieve 375 degrees? Then what mod do you people recommend? I'm usually up on the latest and greatest but didn't follow the TC stuff from the start so I'm trying to understand it better and determine if I want to add one to my arsenal of mods.
Thanks ahead of time for any responses as I'm clueless in the TC realm.
i vape at 30-50W or J with kanthal or nickel
i use 0.5ohm with my freemax starre vs 0.15ohm ni200 with my freemax starre
at similar wattage/joules the vape i get from kanthal is warmer, thicker and fluffier
at similar wattages/joules the vape i get from nickel is much cooler, but during the day the tanks feel similarly warm/hot with kanthal being hotter, with a/c both are quite cool with kanthal being warmer, but then again my ni200 coils i vape them at 375 degrees... thats lower than most people on the forums
both i dont get dry hits but if you chain it you might get it with the kanthal but so far i haven't gotten dry hits from either
kanthal the vape will be warmer/hotter/more fluffy/possible dry hits but the coils made now are very very good at wicking
nickel the vape will be cooler/warm/less fluffy/no dry hits ever/can control your vape to be cooler or hotter
with tc: my juice gets used up slower but battery dies faster
with kanthal: my juice gets used faster but battery dies slower
i recommend a cheap mod (to serve as a backup as well) - the ipv4s with silicone sleeve and/or vapor skinz wrap thats going to come out by next monday or wait a little bit and get the cloudmaker sx mod
