Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum and just wanted to ask a quick question if thats ok?

I have a CoolFire IV Battery and generally use a 0.5 ohm coil (iSub G tank) and have done since i bought it about 12 months ago.

My local E-Cig shop occasionally stock 0.2 ohm coils and I just wondering how low can these CoolFire IV's go before becoming less safe? More to the point, can they actually become unsafe at all?

Many thanks,
Aaron

On the back of the case that my Coolfire IV came in...the info. says the 6.0 - 40.0 Watts that mattmc92 wrote. But it doesn't say 0.2 - 3.1 ohm coil range. Instead it says further down in the specs:

"Clearomizer Resistance - 0.3 Ohm (minimum)"

So, according to that, no...I wouldn't go lower than that and use 0.2ohm coils.

Cool Fire IV | Vaporizer - Innokin

claims 0.2 - 3.1
weird the box says different.
"Fires resistances from 0.2 - 3.1 ohms" ... "The full 40 Watts is precisely maintained between resistances of 0.3 to 2.5 Ohms." So it will fire resistances down to 0.2, but you won't get the full 40 watts below 0.3, is how I understand it.

Be sure you're looking at the proper CF4 model. They range from a CF4 100W, CF4 75W an 18650 replaceable battery, and from the sound of it here, a CF4 at 40W (really? didn't know that). Match the proper resistance to the proper model.
Yes the first coolfire IV before the Plus (70watt) (my mod).

The reviews for the Coolfire4 said they could go to .3 ohms
