well I'm pretty sure the problem is just the circuit board so if its just repair then 25 but replacement 65. $25-65? I can handle that compared to the $200ish i paid for it

They are very good about repairs and won't do or charge you for anything buy what you need done too, so odds are it would be under 100.00 for anything yours needed. They do back up what they sell, and if you need a repair and it does have to be close to the cost of a new one, they will inform you of that if you ask "Hey, if the repair is going to be over 150, let me know, might just go with a new one if that's the case."

actually it is but is the warranty a no question type of thing or does letting juice get inside void it?

Shouldn't be an issue. I wouldn't even mention about getting juice inside, let them figure it out for themselves. More than likely they will do a professional level cleaning, and if its necessary, repair or replace the circuit board, no questions asked.

Just curious, how the heck did you get juice in the Provari?

That is a great question and im not positive that juice is what caused it. unfortunately i didnt read your post in time and told them what i think the cause was

As I said, it shouldn't be an issue with Provape. The only thing that I know that will void the warranty is the use of magnets in the battery compartment to allow flat top batteries to work in the Provari.

I kinda doubt that juice could harm the circuit board, if it could find a way to it. The top connector is solid. I suppose juice could get in through the LED display window. But liquid on the processor does not appear to affect the circuit board. Provape recommends alcohol baths as part of a maintanance plan. Plus I've heard stories of Provari's getting dunked in swimming pools, washing machines, and an all day bath in a river and after being allowed to dry worked perfectly fine.

The only battle that I've read that the Provari lost was with a lawn mower blade....and you should have seen the blade afterwards.

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know if the one year warranty or the extended warranty is transferable if you sell your Provari to someone else ? Also, if you request them to give you an estimate of the repairs, will they do this for free of charge ?

Officially, the warranty is not tranferable. However, there are threads on ECF that second party owners have sent their Provari's in for repair and not been charged for the parts or service. I'm not saying this happens routinely, but that's what has been reported.

If I was a second party owner of a Provari that needed service, I would send it to Provape per their recommended procedure and not mention to them that you are not the original owner. Very well may be that they are not a stickler where this is concerned or check if you are the original owner.

Thunderball, do you mean an estimate prior to sending it in, or after sending it in for inspection/diagnosis? I'm sure that if you request that they contact you prior to any actual repairs be done, they would contact you with an estimate.
