I don't sell Kabukis on my site unless they are factor 2nds, or limited color schemes when available. What you see in the square store are parts that it's hard for the dealers to carry due to having to have too many skus.

Roger that.

So I got my tank (can't use it yet because I'm still waiting on my Radius mod to arrive) but I have tested out the airflow control and don't notice any difference in air draw regardless of where I tighten or loosen the hex screw...I can even remove it totally and it's still the same draw, nothing changes. I have tightened it all the way in and loosened it all the way out all while taking a slow drag on the drip tip and there is absolutely no difference in the draw...not sure I'm going to be happy with this. Also the drip tip that comes with this tank is probably the worst drip tip I've ever seen in the industry, it's about as cheap as you can get, I can't understand why such a cheap drip tip is used on a $90.00 tank (remember it was HOH who makes the comment in their advertisement for the product "why would you use a $39.00 tank on a expensive mod", well why would you use a 5 cent drip tip on an expensive tank? :) Just my opinion but I'm probably going to sell this cause ProVape won't take it back, I might try it out first with the device but I'm just giving my opinion (so far) will update when I get the mod.

I'm personally still at ... Kayfun 4 is very slightly better on flavor and infinitely more adjustable, but, OTOH the Kabuki's have really nice flavor and are more compact.

Not meaning to dis Gertrude but I too thought it was just packing material and tossed it almost immediately. If you're looking for shorty wide-bore drip tips, I like Society Vapor's Lust drip tip: Lust Friction Fit Drip Tips by Society Vapors

There ya go, a $25 drip-tip for your $90 tank, all set =)

Pictured here: Anybody Using A Kabuki?

As far as airflow adjustment goes ... I dunno, works for me on all tanks and at this point I've got 3 Kabukis.

The only part of this scenario that concerns me just a lil' bit moving forward is ... everything is dependent upon Aspire continuing to produce Nautilus coils, which they may decide to stop doing next month (or whenever) because everybody has switched to their sub-ohm tanks... but, that's a problem for another day.

Cheers.

They currently manufacture 100,000 coils per day... there are over 1,000,000 nautilus tanks in the market between both sizes... Relax... they'll be available for quite a while. "everybody" has not switched over to the sub-ohm tanks... in fact, less than 10% have switched.

That's good to know, you sir do beautiful work; what you've managed to attain with a Nautilus carto is pretty amazing :)

Kabuki arrived today, followed Zen's brief un-boxing tutorial, and all I can say is...perfection. Hat Tip Zen for an excellent product!

Placed on top of Provari 2.5 @ 3.8 volts, Minor air flow adjustment and..heavenly. Using 1.8 ohm coil and my own 50/50 blend of 12 mg peach and vanilla juice.

I buy my friends that still smoke that want to quit the Nautilus tank, along with an iStick. So far I haven't had any success stories yet, though they are vaping occasionally which is a start. Once they get off analogs, it will be easy to sway them toward the Kabuki. And a Provari but I'm not as generous as some of you here. They will have to buy their own.

Zen,

I admire you innovation, but why not use a pyrex tank for the Kabuki? I had your carto tank and it cracked in the mail. The store sent me a replacement tank, but I was too afraid it would crack on me so I sold it. I really want to buy this, but I'm fearful it's gonna crack. I'd buy the stainless steel tank, but I like to see how much eliquid I have left. I've been using Phiniac tanks forever. Is the fused Quartz stronger than the Quartz you used to use?

I'd like to hear from Zen on this too. From what I know (which could be wrong), borosilicate glass is more sturdy than fused quartz, though fused quartz can withstand more heat that borosilicate glass and is more pure. Not sure if this applies since the glass doesn't get that hot from regular use.

I did watch my Radius fall off my table onto a tile floor yesterday. I didn't want to look as I for sure thought my tank would be broken. But it was fine. Must have hit Radius first. Got lucky this time. Probably should pick up another glass piece just in case.

It's the same stuff... but you CAN get pyrex tanks from Spectrum if you prefer that material. I personally do not like pyrex.

Hi! I'm back again hoping for Zen's help. My first Kabuki tank broke. I ordered replacement tanks (4) Wednesday morning from Spectrum but I don't know how long it will take to get to Canada. I wasn't too concerned because I love my Kabuki flavour so much that I bought another one from the Mt Baker retail store in Washington State a couple of weeks ago.

I have two gun metal p3's. One I bought directly from Provape & the other I bought used off the classified adds. Now my new 510 kabuki is stuck on my p3 connection (don't know if it's the one I bought used or from Provape). The 1st couple of times it happened I was able to use a penny to disconnect it, then my husband had to unscrew it, and now neither one of us can get them apart. I don't want to try taking plyers to it. Any thoughts?

Your fan,

Tracy

Well, I'm not sure if the problem is with the P3 connector part, or with the Kabuki... but I'm also not sure if that matters... I would suggest putting the wrench in the airhole of the kabuki, so you can get some leverage, and then using a dime in the P3 /510 adapter... that should do it. Worst case scenario, you could ship it to me and I'll get it freed up, and if I can't, I would replace both parts. Either way, you end up with it working.
