Kanger Subvod Charging... 500mA

Hey,

So the new Kanger Subvod needs 500mA from the charger. Most USB adapters have at least 1A output these days.

Anyone know how acceptable it is to use a USB adapter with more than 500mA output for this battery? I don't even own a 500mA adapter.

I suggest youmbuy one, there are too many incidents (accidents) happened because of using the wrong adapter. It will explode, for real.

Pretty inconvenient of Kanger to require a 500mA charger. Considering a charger/adapter with that output is so hard to find (can't find one retail in my area (Melbourne, Australia) from any of the major electronics stores.

The only ones I can find online are budget electronics and probably not trustworthy.

A 1 amp charger/USB wall adapter should be fine. The charging circuit in the battery should just use what it needs.
Do not use a charger of less than 500 ma though, it could damage the charger or the charging circuit in the battery.

also do not use the USB extender cables as I have 2 and the wires are very small in them and cause improper charging.
