Grab an image off the web:
Hover over image, right click with mouse, select Copy URL.....

or

Select an image by clicking it so it is what you are viewing, copy the entire address in the address bar.....

And now:
At the top of the message posting box doodah thing in which ya type out your post there are icons.
The image icon is to the right of the smilie icon.
Click the image icon, paste the URL that you copied into the Image URL field and then click the Insert button.

And Hitt, that Hong Kong Phooey is a .png file. Ya can't insert that type of image file. Needs to be jpg or gif.

I just can't get a handle on the picture posting. Can someone(SIR) give me a tutorial?

I uploaded my pics to Photobucket, it's free and easy.,. Separate albums for animals, gifs. etc... I go to photobucket in another tab, select the pic I want and double click on it to make it full size...then right click on it once to "Copy image URL"...

Come back here and click on the pic icon a box pops up "image URL" paste the URL from the pic on photobucket in , click insert... and boom..instant grouch

Thanks OTD for the heads up on the png file. I didn't realize it. Sir I got a dropbox account but maybe it didn't work because I just pasted what I copied into my post rather than hitting the image button. I'll give it another go.
