Lava Tube 3.0 - Adjusting the contact pad

How do I adjust the height of the contact pad inside the battery compartment? I don't see any method of doing this.

Hi and thanks for contacting us. Are you referring to the spring located at the bottom of your device? If so, you can take a pair of needle nose pliers, pinch the top of the spring and very carefully pull the spring upwards to stretch it out. If you accidentally pop it out, that is not a big issue and you can simply put it back into the bottom of your device. If you don't have pliers, you can take a paperclip (bigger type) and fashion a hook that you can use to bring up the spring. Ok I see the metal disk at the bottom is spring loaded, I will try your suggestion.

Hi again, sorry to clarify do you have a spring or flat metal contact pin at the bottom? Our first LAVATUBE 3's came equipped with a spring and later on was switched to a flat contact pin. If it is a flat contact pin please go ahead and call into our customer service as they will need to walk you through a method to bring the pin up, if that is the solution needed to fix your issue.
