I haven't seen his new movie but I know the tale of Hugh Glass.

Ironic that they get a guy like DiCaprio to play Glass, who was one of the toughest and most honorable men ever to walk the earth.

My issue is his stance on the environment. He continually speaks out against the North American oil which employs hundreds of thousands of very high paying jobs.

meanwhile he drives a Prius and vape with batteries. Anyone with a passing knowledge knows that battery production is infinity more damaging to the environment.

So he's just a Hollywood hypocrite.

I was just jealous that he found the secret fountain of youth and hasn't told me where it is!


I actually like a lot of his movies.
I think he is the complete polar opposite of the real Glass tho, so I'm interesting to see his interpretation of a type of guy that just isn't around any longer.

While I give kudos to him for giving vaping a little positive exposure, I would like to see more. There are a lot of actors /actresses out there that vape, yet I don't hear much about it. I would like to see more speak out on the side of advocacy to the general public. As of now, the only voices we hear are from politicians, mostly negative. We need more soldiers in this war, the more powerful the better.

I agree!! If they can use that superior brain matter God gave them to tackle issues that the common man simply can not understand, why are they not bringing that superior mental ability to bare on the truth of vaping?

Instead, you have California, home of the hollyweirdo, roll out a 30sec. commercial with a handful of B actors, extolling the dangers of tobacco, TO INCLUDE VAPING!

All too often from Hollywood you get, "Do as I say, not as I do" logic. Pee on them!
