no idea... I figure that once the coil goes red during a burn off, any tension in the wire will be relaxed at that point anyway...

I just rebuilt the setup on the Magma with dual coils. It came out to be 1.5ohm with, I think, 32g wire. I did 8 wraps on each coil around a 2mm Coil Master thingie. Filled it up with Fuse juice that April sent and I'm in vaping heaven! This juice tastes like a butterscotch toffy, not bad for not being a sweet juice vaper.

That is 500ml of VG! I had to pour it out into another container for a second and it just happened that I had my two cup measure handy and it filled it up right to 500 ml.
So... out of pure boredom I have set up a dual coil on one of my newer Woodvils. Using an RM4, twisted two identical 30g, 5/64 nine wrap 1.2ohm coils (0.6 total) that fire simultaneously. Loaded up with KGD cotton and DIY honey-nut tobacco that is 75% VG @ 10mg nicotine. Set air ports at smallest holes. Lots of vapor, identical flavor. A primer puff followed by a good lung hit is enough to fill the room and make me want to sit down. Little to no leakage from the RBA. Effective, but I think I'll stay with my RM2 single coils.
Still. very. bored..... so I set up a dual coil in my Cyclone. Identical 30g, 7/8 twist on a 5/64 mandrill 1.1 ohm coils firing simultaneously for a 0.55 ohm dual coil vape. Again, using KGD cotton, and a 75% VG DIY concoction (@20% PG based Flavoring) that I liken to a York Peppermint Patty (shoulda wrote that recipe down). First hit- MINT !!! so I cut the air ports back to maybe 1/3 open. Might try smaller diameter drip tips next...
You coulda took her to a matinee. All that cooking she does....she needs to get out of the house and you should ask her out on a date.
Knowing her, she'd rather I fixed something. I'm sure she has a list somewhere...
