Sitting here on my back porch watching the Super Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse with my family. Such a beautiful moment, had to share it with all of you!

I think I hate you. We've had nothing but cloud cover for the last three days with only a little rain. I was really looking forward to this.

We had cloud cover most of the time. Got to see a bit of it but only after the blood moon. So bummed. Glad so many others got to see the whole thing.
such a poopy buzz, had a photographer I know ask me to blow clouds for some effects while he got pics of it but it was overcast here =(
I'm in Seattle area as well. No eclipse yet but a super mega bright pulsating moon glow above. The brightness is incredible. I have to sleep so no live eclipsing for me.
Too many clouds I was so disappointed. So I went to Nasa's live feed and too many clouds in Huntsville. And the observatory with the best view couldn't get their live feed running correctly.

Had the same here in the UK it's nice to see. Is a "super" blood moon a real thing though? I've heard of a blood moon before but not a super one. The media seem to like hyping things up these days like earler in the year it was all over the media about a "weather bomb" here in the UK. Never heared of one of them before aswel. Seemed just like another storm.
It all just sounds a little silly to me although I do like seeing these natural events.

I think it was 'super' because it was at perigee, which makes an uncommon event even more so.
Now, what is the 'weather bomb' all about? It's only recently I learned about photo bombs.

Hah! I'm rather surprised...i feel like I see SO many vapers around town, but NONE of the ones I've asked knows about ECF. Hooray!
@issy Really? Where are all these vapers of which you speak? Lol, I work Downtown and typically get told I'm killing myself because no one REALLY knows what's in that liquid stuffs , then I get asked if I have matches or a lighter .
We certainly have plenty of vape stores though so they must be out there...just not in Downtown haha!

Nermal's got it right - "supermoon" because it was at its point of closest approach, so looks slightly bigger.
The "rarity" is having a supermoon and eclipse (full moon needed) at the same time. Next will be in 2033.
