Maine House amends/approves bill (LD 1108) to ban vaping where smoking is banned, redefine smokefree vapor products as “electronic smoking devices”, redefine “smoking” as including vaping, change name of bill to “An act to protect children and the public from electronic smoking devices” to confuse, scare and demonize products; sent to Senate for concurrence.

Heard on the grapevine that it has passed both the Maine House and Senate. It is on it's way to the Governor's desk for signing.

It looks like the Governor will veto but there needs to be slightly over 1/3 of the House or Senate members to sustain the Governor's Veto. You need to act now and contact your reps.
