New York Assembly Health Cmte amends bill (A08178) that would ban e-cig use in workplaces by falsely redefining “smoking” to include the use of smokefree e-cigs.
Bills

Assemblywoman Rosenthal is back trying to extend NYC's new vaping ban statewide.

Although the newly amended version of this bill isn't available on the website, since the bill was recommitted back to the Health Cmte after it amended the bill, its possible that the Health Cmte is soon planning to vote on (i.e. approve) the bill.

Since the bill would ban the burning of e-cigarettes that contain tobacco, the amended version of the bill may have changed that absurd definition.

Vapers need to contact Assembly Health Cmte members urging opposition.
