I jumped on getting a reuleaux before they sold out everywhere, I was super stoked to get it!
I opened it up and noticed problems right off the bat!

For one, there's a scratch on the finish of the body where the batt door meets the frame, not a big deal but a bummer!
The big problem is the battery sled!
The pos terminals are terrible!
One looks ok... The other 2 are crooked, and extend past the reverse polarity protection ring.
The outermost one is really bad!
I can get my fingernail under the connector!
I stuck my batteries in it and they did fit, much to my surprise, but the outmost one wants to spin out due to the terminal being so out of level. The device did power up.

I haven't heard of anyone else having problems like this at all, just my luck... I get the worst made one out there... It's got a few other imperfections too, but none as serious as this! I mean really it looks like a 10 year old put this thing together!

Ofcourse now they are out of stock!
The vendor has offered to replace or repair it (I don't think they can effective repair the big scratch) so that means I can either get a store credit, or wait an undetermined amount of time for them to get more in.

I'm really bummed about this and don't know what to do, I'll try to get a pic or 2 but on this phone they won't be very good.

If anyone has any advice or opinions, similar problems, I'd love to hear about it.
It's really a headache for me!
I'm runnin around with this junky eleaf 100, and really was looking forward to a nice DNA200 vape :(

4?
I thought it was a trilogy...
I watched the first 3 twice, as best as I could... It was quite an investment in time but well worth it!
I spent a lot of time reading and watching about this thing before pulling the trigger on it!
Basically soaked up everything I could, I haven't hooked it up to escribe, the issues are physical. Can u see that outer pos. terminal sitting crooked?
With the batt door on it holds it in place but without it, the batt just spins right out!
The sprung neg. terminals seem ok... I tried to add another pic but I guess I used up all my upload space with that one pic.

I happen to like my junky eleaf 100!

Maybe it's just the luck of the draw but my 3rd 100w is in the mail... Thankfully this second works better but the battery display is giving trouble... The first one had some serious flaw, I guess it was the chip and may have been related the the PWM, I was burning coils like a mad man!
I kept buying new tanks and various coils, sometimes I'd burn up 2 a day!
It was really ridiculous!
A friend pointed out that it was likely operator error, which I knew it wasn't! I was a noob but I can prime a coil!
I'd often let them sit in a tank of juice for an hour and take priming puffs with the airflow closed tight, just to make sure. I was running most of these well under half the recommended wattage, rarely over 35 or 40, and a coil a day was good... But that ain't good!
It dawned on me that the only 2 constants in this equation were me and my Istick!
I swapped it out, thankfully the warranty had a few days left on it, and viola! I can now get a week or more out my coils!
So now my second Istick is failing, with the 3rd replacement on the way...
Not to mention my wife had to swap out her 30w over battery issues as well.
So my opinion on them isn't so great!

I have bad hands, these things are huge and clunky, and a day of grasping them isn't very pleasant...
Somehow the reuleaux is small in all dimensions except 1, and lighter than my Istick 100...
I dunno, when/if they work right, I'm sure they are fine, it's hard to argue with 100w for $30, but with all the troubles I've had with them, I thought it might be worth it to step up to something a little higher quality (I thought) and a little more ergononical.

I don't mean to knock them, with vaping I've learned quick that it's all about personal preference!
For me... They've been a nightmare!
I've also read and been told by the vendor that they lack over charge protection, and short circuit protection! I always use my external charger anyway, but that's just plain scary!

But here I sit, in the same boat, out $170 on what's supposed to be a top of the line device... So what do I know!

I certainly have a lot to learn, no doubt of that!

I have 4 istick 100Ws. Mine are pretty nice, and considering I paid $28-35 each, I consider them an awesome buy.
No argument!
But if they are malfunctioning and costing $5 a day in coilheads then it doesn't take long for that awesome buy to turn into a huge waste...
So far I'm 0/2 with the 3rd one here tmrw...
I can say that the repeated coil burning lead me to purchase some great tanks! So that was certainly a plus!

Understandable. I haven't had any issues so I've been happy. Mine are all running 50-60W with RTAs.

im just making sure, but you do know that theres only 1 positive pin in that picture and its kinda not really in the picture
Yup, and I keep trying to add more pics but it says they are too big...
I took it by the local shop, they were really surprised how bad it was but said that since it worked, and is sold out everywhere, they'd just live with it...
I have more pics but it's really hard to show with my out dated iPhone camera, like I said the sprung neg. contacts seem fine... Sorry for the bad pic, if I could load more I would but I'm not sure how much better they'd show the flaws... In person, they're really bad, but yea, terrible pic, and it does look like I'm focusing on the neg contacts.
Thanks for looking!

I didn't even realize... I'm pretty flustered about it and had 3 four yr old whizzing around me...

The reason for the funky angle was to try to show just how pushed down the positive contact is, I just looked at me original post and corrected a few typos but other than that I think I got it all right, maybe you misread?
Either way, bad pic and somewhat misleading for sure!

I know this off topic, but can anyone pinky me in the direction of figuring out how to add more pics?
I'll borrow a better camera and get better pics, I have 3 more that are ok but my repeated attempts to post them only get me an error msg that says pics are too large.
I'm sure the info is here on ecf, a link would be fine, I don't need step by step directions... I hope ...
Thanks
