They (vaporbreak) do ems. Got mine in 5 days (to Australia so a little closer to china). I was chatting with the owner and "someone" complained about the price being to low to the factory. So they had to list it at $39. Make sure you use the discount code to get it really cheap. it's in your cart when you buy.

Funny part is the full starter kit is still just $32.99 bats and charger included.

However one thing I would like to know about these. They seem a little powerful on new attys. Older atties (that i though were dead) vape like a charm. New ones take more care due the the full power of these thing. Any one have recommendations for atty style on Vamos. I start low on 3v always.

Hi Ricardo - are you in RMS mode? Thats no. 2 on the device. Press one of the mini buttons for 10 seconds until either no. 1 or no.2 shows. If it shows no. 2 it means it has just changed it to no. 2 - leave it on no.2

No. 2 is the accurate mode - so when you have it at 3 volts you are firing at 3 volts. You should be able to use your attys.

Also don't know what ohm attys your using. The Vamo has a 1.2 ohm cut off.

I'm gonna suggest the Vamo. I got two of them now. A chrome and also a black chrome. They do a wonderful job for what they were ment for. My provari is still my baby but then so are my Itaste's. For the money you can have VV or VW. VRMS or RVMS. Click the button and it does what you want it to. I helped sell two of then when I was at the shop today. And I don't work for any vapor shop. (yet but the way things go I may be working for a whippie dip tomorrow.) Who knows. I'm happy with both of mine.

Genius, that fixed it. Thanks. it's strange that it's not set to accurate mode as default. Beats me. It was running way to hot on my 2.7 ohm attys when they were fresh. Thanks for that. Going to go back and try that new DID atomizer again now. Thanks kiwivap!!

Ps I did read that you could change modes and tried it before and thought it did not have that function on this model. I guess I know I cannot count to ten secs. I am a little impatient I guess.

Yes a few of us have used them before.
Yes it is the lastest version 2
They just added Black Chrome to the site now too.

Are you sure it's V2? I got the kit for $33 yesterday and today it jumped up to $50 and it now clearly states V2. I'm pretty sure when I ordered it yesterday it didn't say V2 so I took your word for it and ordered it. It says VV650 VAMO STARTER KIT in my order status so I don't know which version I got now.

If you were wrong, I'm not mad at you, everybody makes mistakes. I don't know the difference between the 2 versions but if it doesn't blow up or die on me it's better than my little 900 mah twister for sure.

Edit: Talked to a guy in chat and he said I got the V2. We'll see.

V2 "can" have metal buttons ... but you can still get the colored buttons on a v2. If they offer the option of either, it's probably a v2. Just wanted to clarify that a little.

As far as size and weight ... it's a pretty decent sized mod. You can find plenty of comparison pics in what has become the unofficial "official" thread under the VV section of the forum. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...9173-any-vamo-etna-vv-vw-owners-here-yet.html

I believe it's slightly bigger than the YJ in 18650 mode but I could be wrong. The Vamo is well over an inch longer than the Provari + extension cap. The YJ is similar to that as well I believe.

Thanks for the reply Kiwi. The only reservation I have now about getting one is the weight. I have a YoungJune right now and it is pretty light weight but sturdy. How does this compare to Lavatubes in terms of size and weight. Thanks in advance...

Hi EDO, I've never tried a lavatube so can't give you a comparison from experience. I have seen Young June lavatubes advertised at 125 grams. I think the full length Vamo is 140 grams. That's tubes without batteries.
A little heavier, but not really heavy.

I have had a vamo for about about 2 weeks, and I love this thing. I have tried several different VV devices before and this one tops them all. I started out with the ego-booster device that attached to regular ego batteries, then went to knock off egos with 3 voltage selections, then the ego twist, then to the VV gripper then back to the twists (which after being an ego user practically my whole vaping life, I still can't support due to having 2 out of 3 break WAY too easily), and now have the vamo. So that's my laundry list of devices tried. I can't speak to the liquids, as I don't drip, and my tanks don't leak. But it is very solid as it's all metal (this is what will kill the gripper methinks, it's all plastic, and cheaply made). Buttons feel very solid, great LCD screen, and very simple to operate. It has some very minor issues like some of the first releases had too small of an internal hole causing possible shorts (I call this minor because it has been fixed with larger holes and gaskets), and the spring is a little too weak to use flat top 18650s. Works fine with button top 18650s and flat top 18350s, so it's not too big of a deal. But it does support average and RMS, so it's just as accurate as a Provari for about 1/3 the price. Hope that helps, and you get more info about the lambo. I can't speak for that one personally.

I have the revised Vamo with the longer spring cap that lets you use flat top 18650's. I'm loving it!
Its not build like a cheap China plastic or aluminum tub mod. It's built very sturdy. It's heavy and has a nice feel in hand. It blows away my lava tube.

as requested some comparison pictures

left is the YJ 2.0 in black chrome, middle is the vamo in 18350 size (left picture) and 18650 size (right picture) and a 650 twist for size comparison. so far VERY satisfied with it's performance over the YJ and my twists

vamosingbatt.jpgvamodualbatt.jpg

only complaint which is a very minor one, the noise the 33.3hz makes when firing a carto is a little odd but it functions great and I'm in love with VW Vrms mode

The Vamo compares very nicely to my Lambo 4. The Variable wattage, the 18650/18350 versatility, and nice solid click on the Vamo is better. The Lambo has a very loud click. The threads on the battery cap aren't quite as smooth on the Vamo and the slight rattle of the battery may become bothersome. But it's great so far and my Lambo has gone into my backup bag.
