My ego style charger might be the issue... and it's wonderful red light that never turns off. But my Aspire cr sub ohm battery never seems to fully charge.
Have you tried cleaning the contacts both on the battery and the charger? The best would be an electronics cleaner of some sort but alcohol and a qtip will work too. I used to clean it every time I changed batteries even if its just with a dry napkin or whatever.
Might not be the same problem I had but its worth a try and it costs nothing.
Are you plugging it into a computer USB? 2.0? or using a wall plug adapter? Mac or PC? These could also effect the charging status. But a new ego charged I'd less than 5 dollars at any Vale shop and most any Vale shop should be able to test it for you. Just tell them to screw a fully charged ego into it.
