I swear they are holding these 12hr flash sales just for their own entertainment ... they then run an office pool as to when I will order

My office does as well, and none of 'em, 'cept me even knows who you are!

Can any ProVari vets here help this guy with a loose circuit board in a V2.0? I thought I'd seen some tips, but my brain is foggy (don't even need the music). I saw him post in another area and suggested he come over here for help. Thanks!

Provari 2.0 circuit board help | E-Cigarette Forum
I did it a few times w/a long thin flat nose punch and a hammer.
Insert it from the bottom of the tube to the base of the top. Make sure you do not encroach on/damage the board. Hold the tube and rap it a few times w/the hammer and it should pop off.
Then you can either hot glue the board, or in my case I used an O-Ring between the board and the cap and it has been bulletproof.
Then set it right side up on a stable base, set the cap & align it, and tap it back in w/a rubber mallet or a wood block and a hammer.
Proceed at your own risk! If you don't understand any part of what I just said, do not attempt.
I'm sure there is a Youtube video for more clarification.
And last but not least, I can almost assure you this is not condoned by Provape!!!

Unhappy as they don't have a P3.

Darken her hair a bit and you got us cloned, Pingster.

So. I've been Kabuked. (And I think I liked it.)

Jackie and I are Tootle Puffers, or as one cloud chaser called us, Turtle Fluffers. He wrote, "Turtle fluffers won't inherit the earth." Jackie gets pretty low on her K4 sometimes, which is why she wanted a P3, but she hasn't broke that barrier yet!

Good morning P3 Crew! It's dark outside, not even 7:00 AM and I am already at work. Ugh. Charlie had to be at the airport for an early morning flight to Oregon to visit with family and since my office is around the corner from the airport, I just came to work at 6:30 AM. It's going to be a looooooooooooooooooooong day.

Welcome to my world, Get to work between 6 and 6:30. And on a good day I can leave at 5. The worst part is the 7 hours to lunch. Maybe this is why I never write anything on this thread, I'm just barely awake enough to read it.

No offense, but I don't want to be welcomed into your world. My philosophy is if'n the sun aint up, Sir Rod should not be up either! That's my story and I'm stickin' to it! Yes I am! ;)

You can hide DP and Kat but you can't run. Isn't it time to get the P3 and be done with buying other mods? We off help here and will guide you along the process. You already know no one here is really sane except both Robins. Please let us help.
:). Whatever gave you that idea, Ping?

Think of us as someone happily tooling around in their 1969 (perfectly conditioned) Corvette. That person probably doesn't even want a 2016 model, because it will never make them as happy as their older one.

That's us. Amazingly happy with our 2.5's and planning to keep them forever (especially the Ti and GMZ versions), with only limited interest in the latest-and-greatest currently being offered.

Now, a ProviBox? THAT would be a VERY DIFFERENT story. Especially if they had the foresight to sink the tank. You know, possibly like... CC

'67. And a P3 :)

According to the tracking info I should be getting my P3 back from ProVape in a few hours! :D

I also got a response from them about what the problem was, and apparently one of the wires connected to the 510 pin was broken, so they replaced the wires and pin :)

They said it was likely caused by the 510 pin being twisted when I screwed atty's down so they were flush with the top cap, and that I should only screw them down until they are snug (even though that will leave a gap). Doesn't this kind of defeat the purpose of having a self-adjusting pin? Am I the only one who thought the whole point of having a self-adjusting pin is so you can screw any atty down until it's flush?

Anyways, I'm curious what my fellow P3 users do when attaching an atty to their P3, do you make sure to only screw it down until it's snug, even if it leaves a gap? Or do you just screw it down until it's flush with the top cap?

Oh and I feel like I should mention that it's not like I would force my atty's to screw down flush, they always went all the way down with very little resistance

I'm a screw the ATTY until it's snug and fugetaboutit guy. And I have OCD, so you'd think any gap would bother me. But I figure there are tolerances different ATTY's have that make it difficult for all of them to fit completely flush. And while most of my ATTY's do fit flush, I've had a couple that didn't fit completely flush (i.e., there was a teeny tiny gap). I just didn't want to push the pin out to get it to completely flat.

It's a good question. My belief is the most ideal situation is when you can make contact with the connection pin and then have less than a quarter turn after that. Anymore is unnecessary and only invites problems (like grinding down the post on your Provari or worse what you encountered). I have an atty now that leaves a large gap. But the center pin is supposedly adjustable so I will look at shortening it up. Many center pins on attys are adjustable these days so you can attain an ideal length so you are not making excessive turns and grinding down your positive post on your P3. I don't care what brand of PV you have or what design...excessive and unnecessary turning of a 510 connector on your positive post is not an ideal situation.
