Omega symbol

Help! Can't type the Omega symbol anymore. Is it me? Windows 10.

I used to hold the Alt key and type 234 on the numeric keypad. Now it doesn't work--when I press Alt + 234, I end up on a different page, on ECF only. Works fine everywhere else--just tried writing an email and doing a google search and the Omega symbols displays correctly.

This is so strange. Thanks, Classy. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Been using Alt + 234 for years without any problems. Now it won't work. I have a new computer and W10. So much for progress. Every time I try I end up on the home page...

I just tested and turned off my Num Lock - it threw me to a different page when I tried.

I'll have to boot into Winderz and test. Using the Alt + Number in linux results in different (and expected) behavior.

I played with my Num Lock--it seems to be fine, Classy. My Alt 234 works in Word, Outlook, Google... but not here. That's why I'm so confused.

BTW, I can do Alt 3 ♥ and Alt 6 ♠, but not Alt 4...

I have. I googled the daylights out of the problem before I started the thread. No go.

Something somewhere is hexed. Some Alt codes work, others don't. Thanks for trying to help. It's just annoying.

Try switching to Rich Text Editor. ?

It says: Use BB Code Editor

Not sure if that will work for you but worth a try...
