Okay, so originally I thought that it was a problem with the 510 connection, but the connections fine. If I hit the fire button it says "no atomizer", but if I lock the voltage and hold the down key and hit fire it fires, then I can let go and continue to hit it just holding the fire button.. Is it a wiring problem or what? It hasn't been dropped or anything..

Hi and welcome to the board. Frankly, I don't like the sound of that. If it says "no atomizer" it ought not to fire, or so I think. However, I don't have one of those mods and it might be supposed to do that. I'm going to wait a bit and see if we can dredge up an answer from somebody who knows more about the istick 50. Failing that, I'll be back and we'll try to work through it, you and I.

For some ungodly reason, if my actic tank is too tight it reads "no atomizer".. Back it off a little and see if that helps... Good luck
Ah, good idea. Yes, back it off a bit. Sometimes those spring loaded 510 pins get stuck so far down they can't make contact, or only intermittently. You might try to gently lift it some, using a non-metallic implement like a Q-tip stick or a toothpick or something.

Weird problem. I have the iStick 50W and the only time I've gotten to "no atomizer" message is when I had a loose or botched coil, and it wouldn't fire at all.
The fact that it fires is very strange. Are you using an RTA? If so, what one?
I'm using the Kanger Subtank mini, I haven't been using the RTA option lately

Had the same problem on the istick 30. My RDA non adjustable center positive pin was overly recessed in one of my RDA's. All other RDA's had an exposed or protruding pin profile and worked perfectly when attached directly to the istick.
Your istick probably came with a Ego Adapter with an adjustable 510 to 510 center pin, mine did.
Re: Eleaf 510 to eGo Thread Adapter (Connector) by iSmoka
I placed the above adapter on the 30 istick and no fire. Adjusted the center pin on the adapter and got intermittent firing (RDA+adapter+30). I found the adapter pin could not be adjusted far enough to make contact with the 30 reliably.
To allow the recessed RDA center pin to screw in closer the center pin, I filed down the top (4ea. 1/16" slot barre sidel) circular surface between adapter and RDA. I removed approx. 1/16" height of adapter. This permitted the RDA (all other RDA's too) and adapter to function/fire consistently.
Cons:
This adapter add an extra 1/2" to the over all height of the 30.
Advantages:
I can get my fat fingers on my RDA bottom casing and quickly remove the cap if I wish to.
My 30 which has stainless steel harden threads will be doubly guarded against wear. Ismoka Eleaf realize that when two metal surfaces work against each other in screwing back and forth, the softer metal will be worn. Hence, a loose thread (created from metal degrading through wear) equals no contact/firing of topper.
The above adapter is a sacrificial goat to prevent a 30 (any mod) female threads from being worn by constant use.
The Ismoka Eleaf 510 - Ego Adapter I use is a brass base material coated with decorative thin chrome (no real wear resistant plating).

My connection it's perfectly fine, though. I've made sure of it since I've had it

Got it. Sounds like a wiring/elect. problem. The 50 seems to be doomed. Bought my 30 from Mt. Baker with "6 MONTH WARRANTY". The 6 month may be germane to Mt. Baker (Dealer).
You might want to try:
Eleaf USA | Electronic Cigarette | E-Liquid | Vaporizer --factory rep.--- 1 855-569-3168 and see if they will fix?
It all depends on how long and what cosmetic condition it in.
Just hit like and maybe can help some more.
