Hi guys, just a small annoyance I am having with tapatalk with the new forum. It keeps on notifying me on ever "like" I receive. Do you know how to get rid of that? Thanks. Some things will require getting used to but all change does.

Thanks. Actually the above method works. It does work well but I'm used to tapatalk. And it is a separate application. Plus I rely on notifications for new postsTry the new ECF in mobile ... it works really well.
It is very mobile friendly

Targets only iPhone users. Whatever you do people would still use tapatalk. So not worth it I believe.
A bit more of information.. When tapatalk tries to connect to ECF it either spits "can't connect to the forum" when it can't connect at all, or "scheme 'https' not registered" when trying to send my login credentials.

Actually, keeping all tapatalk information, questions etc... In one thread is better than having us run to different threads to answer the same things over and over again
Tapatalk doesn't connect at all anymore to ECF.
It doesn't work on any of my apple products either. Try using your mobile devices web browser. Other members are loving the functionality of the new software on their mobile devices. Just give a whirl or two while we try to work on issues.
it is a mobile friendly forum it seems. And it doesn't take away functionalities as vbulletin. Although I wonder why the post count does not appear in the mobile version.
Time will tell if we can do everything from the mobile website.
Still this does not replace tapatalk as the latter joins multiple forums instead of opening a page on the browser. An app usually is more efficient than running the browser

I'm also a huge TT fan. Considering ECF isn't the only forum I frequent I'd rather use one app for all instead of flipping back & forth between Tap & mobile web.

There are also other pros for tapatalk, first and foremost its reduced bandwidth usage.
I use mobiles 90% of the time, and have no bytes to waste, thanks to my country's freaking mobile plans..

From a user's standpoint, Tapatalk is awesome. From an Admin standpoint, it's a security nightmare. So if you run across a site that flat refuses to install it, that's why.
Sure, I can understand that point of view..
Still for people like me, always on the move, TT makes the difference between actively participating and only connecting maybe once a week..
Much as I like ECF, without TT I'd be forced to desert it. I truly hope TT will work again here in the near future
