Tapatalk?

Hi, I just joined the forum, and the first thing I wanted to do was set up this forum in Tapatalk, to make it much easier to read on mobile devices. Tapatalk wont accept my email however.. It claims the user account doesn't exist.

Know problem? Something related to new user limit?

Ensure you're filling out the proper information. Remember, there's the login information for the forum, and there's the separate Tapatalk information.

Thanks, but I'm copying and pasting the info right into Tapatalk from 1Password, and using 1Password to log in successfully on the website, using the same iPad. I also tried typing the info.

If I select the "Forgot my password" link (in Tapatalk) and enter my email, I get "No account found with this email address" Yet I'm using that email right now....

I've never used the Tapatalk login, or Facebook login, and have been using six other forums for months on Tapatalk... very odd. Yet I'm consistently seeing "System Message - Account doesn't exist, please try again" in Tapatalk.

Maybe I'll try using a different email address...

I changed my email address for the forum, and the problem persists. New address works fine to log in via web browser but not recognized in Tapatalk.

I think I have the correct forum in Tapatalk. "E Cigarette Forum" "The web's largest community of e-cigarette users (vapers)" with a red bubble logo containing the script writing "ecf"

Regarding email addresses, seems that the ECF forum doesn't send confirmation emails. No big deal I guess, just saying.

Maybe I should get on the Tapatalk forum to pursue this... It's such a poorly supported program though.. Gosh, the reviews are so negative, but it's the only app that does what it does! Thanks again.

We turned off email confirmations earlier this week to improve the user experience in signing up.

Solved... In Tapatalk, I was pressing "follow" then attempting to sign in, but it turns out you have to be viewing the forum first, the press the hamburger button and select "sign in".

Classic bad UI design, but the problem is solved... I just have to remember this for next time I add a forum. Thanks.
