@whiteowl84 The Razorback Alien is real good, tons of flavor, i can't stop hitting it, but again it's a fresh coil and wick so time will tell, i'll probably wait now till this wick gets old and give the last 3 builds a clean and fresh wicks so they're all on a level playing field, then compare them side by side on the same juice.
I'll also uninstall one of the Razorback alien's just to make it fair on the other builds :thumb:

I'd imagine it heats pretty quickly too.
I'm too poor to clapton with ribbon :(

lol.. Yeah but bc the ribbon is almost laying width ways on the mainwire it doesn't mean you need to razorback shed loads of it, for a normal clapton alien i would use an arms span worth of un-claptoned wire and its about the same for the ribbon version.

I'm not rich and also dislike wasting even the smallest amount of wire, things would defo be different if we had wire sponsors wouldn't it, hint hint wink wink!
:D

Indeed. I'd do fine without a sponsor...just an aggressive discount. Lol. I would try alot harder and try more stuff if I thought a sponsor was possible though.
By almost width ways do mean it doesn't lay flat against the decore wire?

When you make the razorback the ribbon is claptoned onto the decore wire vertically like how ribbon is stacked in a staple build Not laying horizontally lol

What? How the heck do you do that? Bite it in the chuck? Seems like it would lay down.

You feed it onto the decore wire with tweezers, you hold the tweezers against the decore wire as its feeding. It's very therapeutic :D

I haven't cut myself or sliced my fingers doing it but i can imagine it being very easy to do so go careful.:|

It's a $13 Dotmod 24mm rta clone.
I'm really happy with them.
I had never used a postless deck before so I didn't want to blow the bank on something I didn't like.
I'll buy a real one when funds allow.

I'm used to having big chambers to heat. It's nice to have space to build but also keep a small form factor and chamber.
Better than a velocity deck because you don't need to twist the legs. And the coil doesn't stretch when you tighten it.
I've got some crazy ideas for this deck.

Nice build Whiteowl, I see you're practicing your staggering! What gauges did you use on the Petri RTA?
I've been trying new things also.

That all just came in so I made this:

Its a 42/42g staggerton. 8ply .3 (4x ka1, 4x n80 ribbon) with 28gSS frames. Dual spool method for the win.

28g frame, 0.4mm ribbon, 38g wrap. I really need higher gauges.
My swvl and 0.3mm should arrive today! Hopefully the 30g gets here too so I have some frames.

Another question about that petri @whiteowl84 do you know how wide the deck/wire holes are?
Not quite but if you look at my half stagger you get a good idea. The authentic's are bigger looking.
