yeah, the nippers work with twisted, just not as long, it does wear them out faster and you just redo the nippers. Oh you are saying they don't work? I haven't done twisted 32 but I have used them for twisted 28 with no problem. I'm guessing Tiger wire would be a no go , maybe if you were ready to redo the nippers.

I would say you change out the leather and rubber when they aren't holding to well anymore or are ripped up. Mine are holding pretty well, even the set I have used for twisted. I made 3 pairs for different sizes (when I remember) and a set just for the twisted. Change 'em when you think they need it.

The Chalice is very small and the screws are a PITA. I have one running a 1/16 ID in it and another with a 3/32 ID in it. Both are around .6-.7ish if I remember right and I will run them till they fall apart. I have small hands and those screws are a PITA even for me. Be very conscious of your wire ends that they do not touch the cap it will short in a heartbeat, finish to the inside. Schooled me. However it will sing, I hope you like a sorta tight draw, works for me but some don't like that. Flavor is great in spite of itself. Are you a Squonker?

@AllPepperS Yep, I'm a squonker. The Challice happened to be for sale with a Black Nuppin so I I couldn't pass up 2 unicorns with one big shot from my wallet. :) I haven't tried anything but Nuppin's so far, but figured I couldn't go wrong with the Challice and if I liked it there are still new ones available so it will be nice not to have to stalk the classifieds for more.
