Won't be using them. I do not buy any tank unless I can rebuild the stock coils. Not a coil I could not rebuild but I do have a list of some I wont rebuild anymore. Perhaps when I get some used ceramic coils and get into them and tear them apart I may change my mind. CHEERS!
That's the cool thing about the ones lecig carries. You can use them to rebuild tfv4, starre pro and more but those are the only ones Ive rebuilt. They have a couple of cool videos on how to do it. Actually really simple

I've used the Vaperasso coils in my Melo 2 tank (and so has my wife)... they lasted a good week (and more) but depending on the thickness of the juice, I discovered that they can gum up fairly fast too. My wife went through 3 if them within a week and a half. But the good thing about the Vaperasso is that they are very well made and can be rebuilt very easily, so I've been doing that with 28 gauge and organic japanese cotton (and getting better at rebuilding them to the point that they behave near identical to the "real thing"). At this point, my rebuilds have been actually better lasting and flavour wise, about the same after several puffing sessions (once the cotton has winked throughout). At this point, I'll be buying more of them to replace when they get too worn, but honestly, I would bother getting them because of the ceramic thing, but more about the actual shell.

I have not. That looks interesting.

Why READYxWICK™(NEXTEL™)?

Well, you should. Nextel (the registered trade name of the base media) is alumina fiber. Same stuff as forms on Kanthal A1 (our most common) wire with the right pulsing. It's ceramic! And do we know of any material that is more flavor neutral in our cooking? As efficiently heat conducting and absorbing? Scorch and stick free?

I've written more than a few lines on the subject of it's flavor accuracy and exceptional performance. Members of the REO's community have long been supporters of this wicking material and for good reason, they're flavor vapers. After a lackluster introduction, as few were actually preparing the wicking properly, folks lost interest. Reading up on it along with the introduction of the microcoil by @super_X_drifter prompted me back in 2013 to quit and succeed. That and efficient rebuilding approaches make this media rock at its true potential. And that can often make other wicks and winds seem anemic by comparison. It's all about vapor density. Some may be skeptical that good flavor is the way to the latter, great production. But the truth is — more vapor, more flavor.

Those of you that are interested, just do an advanced search for Nextel (and/or RxW) and my handle, MacTechVpr.

Good luck all, you too trkr. :)

Hey neighbor. Can't say it enough, thanks. Peeps like you, Russ really made me realize vaping had hit prime-time. Appreciate all your videos on improving wrapping the micro (symmetry) and annealing. Great motivation to make the effort and try to quit. Wish more of the stuff from '12-'13 as you, scuba, pdib and so many others really expanded the inquiry into applying power were more prominently visible to newcomers. Like the guy who did hot-wrapping ribbon on porous ceramic for the genny's. Maybe there'll be the time to put together a highlights thread, or sub! Someday.

Seems things have awfully slowed down in the internet vapesphere. Dunno why. Hate to think it's apprehension but the gut tells me it's so. Lots of peeps seem to be vaping but no-shows in the community. Although aesthetic and fun, a lot more to ECF than being the art wire picture palace drop spot, a la Pintarest. Don't find pics of mass produced variable TC kits nearly as engaging as all the stuff y'all were doin' back in the day.

Still tryin' to pay back what I couldn't pay forward vap. Prolly always will. You take care, stay well.

Good luck. :)

p.s. Love Sarasota. Missed the Tampa show. Need to make some time to get up that way to my childhood hometown.
