I saw flames....must not have been too bad, though, because he took another vape afterwards (after applying liquid).
Yes, see the photo below the video linkLol, did that catch on fire?
Yes mate, didn't inhale them though. I heard the pop sound of ignition and stopped that hit right then! Could of been nasty but I'm ok.I saw flames....must not have been too bad, though, because he took another vape afterwards (after applying liquid).
I'm fine, it was just a bit of fun using 200w if iv got it available then why not try it?! A word of warning for those who like a seriously powerful hit, use very thick wire and lots of it and drip after every hit!Steve,
I'm glad you are ok - not sure I would have braved it![]()
I wonder if Vaporshark consulted with Evolv before they implemented 2 amp charging. If they decided to do this on their own, Evolv might tell Vaporshark to get screwed.I'm not certain. Vaporshark told me they have been in close contact with Brandon at evolve about the DNA 200 charging board making the chip fail. They said that since it's a known issue the warranty work will be done for people , but they are trying to figure out how to handle this with evolve.
That's all I know.
True, and I don't know. Mine gets shipped back to me today. The person I spoke to on the phone told me they fixed mine and it shouldn't happen again. I wonder what they did.I wonder if Vaporshark consulted with Evolv before they implemented 2 amp charging. If they decided to do this on their own, Evolv might tell Vaporshark to get screwed.
That has been my thought as well after reading the responses he's getting. Couldn't be the 2A daughter board, oh, no, its clearly the DNA200's fault. Mhmm, OK VS.I think it's more of a malfunction of DNA 200 chips charging at 2A, which it's not designed to do.
I'm sure that if VaporShark decided to build a DNA200 with a 2a charger and told Evolv that they would order 5,000 over the next 6 months provided that Evolv design and incorporate a 2a charger into the DNA200 boards they ordered and that Evolv sell the 2a design boards only to them, Evolv would be more than happy to accommodate their request (for a nominal fee).I think it's more of a malfunction of DNA 200 chips charging at 2A, which it's not designed to do.
Could be but the way she said it made me believe that it's not just the vapor shark that is having the issues. I guess the only real way to find out is to email evolve again and straight up ask them. That has been my thought as well after reading the responses he's getting. Completely agree. The only reason I am informing everyone of my conversation is because she put me on hold to go talk to technician to figure out what caused it and get info on the matter....or so I was told.Take it with a grain of salt. You're quoting a 1st line tech support person and they're not known for accurate info.
No, that wouldn't happen. They wouldn't change their reference design for one company. If they did it for one, they'd do it for all. And a 2A charging circuit actually eats up quite a bit of landscape to regulate the power. It's kind of funny, the 2A charging board looks bigger than the evolv board.I'm sure that if VaporShark decided to build a DNA200 with a 2a charger and told Evolv that they would order 5,000 over the next 6 months provided that Evolv design and incorporate a 2a charger into the DNA200 boards they ordered and that Evolv sell the 2a design boards only to them, Evolv would be more than happy to accommodate their request (for a nominal fee).
