I have noticed, in my time being out and about, that we each have stereotypical interests and antistereotypical interests. I, for one, love to tinker with tools, attempting my own repairs. I drive a pickup truck. I am very rapt up in my cats. I am very strong and outspoken in my opinions. I no longer give a rats tuckus about fashion. On the other hand, I crochet. I sew on a sewing machine - albeit at a beginner's level. I thoroughly enjoy home decorating. I adore gay men while still being a rather butch dyke. I want very little to do with political activism - I figure society will catch up with us when they see who we really are, individually. I don't really like sports, and I abhorr American football. I love, love, love shopping, especially bargain shopping. So, tell us which of the gay and lesbian stereotypes fit you and which do not. I think it would be an interesting topic.
