Your birthday greeting was so nice to wake up to this morning! [Yes, I slept late.] And this is the big one: 65. Whoa!
Actually, I've been thinking of myself as that age from the beginning of the month, which is when Medicare kicked in. I am saving so much money now on health insurance! Gotta start looking for those senior citizen discounts.
And this arbitrary number has enabled me to transition from semi-retired (pretending to keep a rundown consulting business afloat) to retired. That is, a carefree state of mind to focus on the only two things I important to me: caring for my wife with MS ... and all things vaping.

You and my mother definitely had creative ways with the spelling. Personally I love it I do get called "Carl" a lot, especially before they realize I am female. I must admit I kinda had a "twilight zone" moment when I read your message yesterday, lol. The same birthday along the name spelling just kinda gave me goosebumps.
Grammie, this is just about the strangest thing I've heard lately, lol. C-A-R-I and May 10th? WOW. I'm quite a bit older than your daughter, born in 1963. Nice to meet you! -
