Its holding up great! Sometimes gets a little gurgly, and leaks every once in a while, but in general is a good tank. The tube is either lucite or glass, not sure which, but no sign after several months of cracking or otherwise failing.

I never recommend the ego because it is only 3.4 volts with standard battery being 650 mAh. Kgo, E-Power and Riva, all the same physical size/price range are true 3.7 volt PV's with 1000+ mAh batteries. Not that the eGo is bad, just that for the money, I believe the others are better. I specifically like the E-Power because it's 1050 mAh batteries only cost $4.00 each. Big savings in the long run.

The VV ego is the Lavatube from what I understand. Made by the same company. I believe they are coming out with a new one, also, called the "twist". I just can't recommend a VV like the Lavatube that limits what you can vape on it.

If you are in the market for a budget VV, I would look at either the EVO at sweet-vapes or one of Ken's box VV's at Ken's box mods. Both have gotten very good reviews and do not have the limitations of the Lavatube.
