Hmmm....Now that I think about it. When I first got the V2, I broke the brass pin off and had to get brass pin replacements. I think maybe there is still part of the broken part still stuck in the post. I can still screw on the new brass pin, but maybe it doesn't screw on all the way because...- Sad Society

I watched Scott's review of the V2 and it looks like the brass center pin doesn't stick out that far on the review. Is there a deeper V2 base made that I don't know about? (edit...Problem Solved. Check recent posts.)- Sad Society

With the Penelope V2...I must admit, that I have not been using it. :huh: With the current mod that I use, I have been using the Penelope V1 instead. The V2 has the center pin sticking really far out. Even with the brass pin all the way screwed in the center pin stick out too much. So I...- Sad Society

Proteus serial list
Yes. Proteus is made for Penelope V2. Will look really nice. Four wraps of 32g on cotton for about a 1.2-1.7 ohm range at around 8 watts is nice.- Sad Society

Help a newbie upgrade battery please?!
Guys. The OP said she doesn't like the box mod battery thing. But wants to try VV with reliable batteries. For less than 50 dollars. AND something that can still take EGO. So grab a Vamo V5 from fast tech and some Panasonic IMR batteries. And you should be good. I'll get back to this...- Sad Society

Wicking issue on Penelope v1
I tried the Cotton core Ekowool when it was still considered new to the market, just to see what all the hype was about. For me, the cotton core Ekowool is a waste of time. It's like cotton wrapped in silica. I thought maybe it would last longer than a cotton wick. But no...it actually...- Sad Society

Need a cheap side button 18650 mechanical mod for Genesis Coil set up
So what mechanicals (mainly telescoping ones) are there that can use an 18650 batt. and a kick? Can the 69 mod do that? Or is it too short?- Sad Society

Cotton Questions
For me, IMO ekowool is a waste of time. I tried the cotton filled ekowool and the cotton core still wore out just as fast as using regular cotton. Cotton does wear out after time with use. I can notice a difference when the cotton isn't wicking a good as it was when it was new...even before...- Sad Society
