I rebuilt them at 26 guageat 3mm and 3.5mm. It's been awhile, I can't remember how many wraps. Getting the legs right is really important on the vertical coils. I think it was 6 wraps?
I know I've made coils last awhile burning off the the funk on the coil like Phoenix said and re wrapping in...
Can't go wrong with the nautilus mini IMO. It can be used in so many different ways. I like the way it handles different juices and what different coil builds will do on the Spinner VV.
Welcome to ECF Flowly.
I'm sure you're well enough inclined, but Please be careful. Lots o' stuff goin on in them there box mods.
Like Susan said, there is a database of info on here about building just about anything. From coils to boxes.
IStick 30 maxed at 30watts with Atlantis or Melo tanks with .5 coils 12 mg juice 80/20 VG /PG
Sig100 at 40-45 watts with Big Dripper or Kennedy v2 with dual 26g kanthal parallel coils at .07 with 3 mg juice 80/20 VG/PG
Have a mutation dripper on the way that I'm excited to vape and build on.
There are some great reviews on both tanks on YouTube. Might help you find out if either tank will do what you want.
This is my go to online, great prices and fast shipping. I live in philly and I get everything in 3 days tops.
Aspire Atlantis 2
Subtank Nano 18.5mm
Good luck finding the right...
I did the same thing as you and BrandonR. I look at it like your working your way up in moderation, which is always good. I know people that went out and dropped $100's getting multiple batteries, box mods and tanks.
Sounds like your on the right path and things are working out for you...
If your not tasting any burnt taste, I think your fine. If your using the v2 coils you won't have to worry about burnt ceramic or anything like that. I always start my Atlantis off low and work my way up for the same reason you experienced.
Same thing happened to me, I turned it down, left it...
I've said this in other posts so I apologize for bringing it up again but, the new aspire occ coils literally take forever to get fully primed and juiced so you stop getting a bit of that "cottony" aftertaste.
I've been actually priming the top ,sides, dry pulls than let it sit for an hour or...
I've had my IStick 30 watt since the day it came out and have had no issues to date. If I could go back in time I would have picked up something in the 50 watt range with a battery I could switch out. Yes, with numerous reasons the 50 watt IStick has had many issues and would not recommended it...
Keep us updated on your progress. No better feeling than to see someone find their equipment and juice that will keep them vaping and off the kill sticks!!
Good luck and keep on vapin on.
Try an ry4 juice. Almost every juice company makes a version. It's recommended to people who smoked non menthol etc.
Personally the closest I've found in my taste tests was a juice called Johnny555 from The Vapertory.
Keep it up, you'll be off the stinkies soon enough. Just try to reach for...
