    It wasn't like that when I had these, back in the 1989-1992 period. I think they were about 30% more than a pack of Camels. I'm not sure how they can even be selling these in the US. AFAIK, there are no longer analog imports. But if there is a loophole, this is the "loophole premium" I suspect.

    Do you have other ceramic cups? I would try swapping that out as well. Those can be off spec at times. CE2 cups are mass produced, so a small percentage will be off spec, and can create these problems. I can send you a few to swap out and see if that addresses this - I have the original singles...
