You're embarrassed at the size of your vaping stash???

I'm so far beyond mortified at the gargantuan size of mine that I no longer feel embarrassed, just astonished. The pic below is a composite shot of the storage cabinets at my vaping workstation, a 1920s oak library table. That includes 15 liters of retail eliquids, 5 liters of flavorings, 4 liters of DIY juices, and 3 liters of home-brewed NET extracts (makes me feel like singing, "And a par-tridge in a pear tree..."). What the picture doesn't show is 3 liters of liquid nic in the freezer, a gallon each of PG and VG in the fridge, 45 loaded-and-ready PVs at my regular desk, another 40 loaded PVs upstairs in my bedroom next to my bed, and the four cigar macerations currently steeping in the kitchen---two on the stove and two on the windowsill.

Everyone needs a hobby. LOL.

LOL....Would it be safe to say that you live alone? Or, perhaps you have a very supportive significant other! ;)
You are absolutely right about needing a hobby, and it appears you are pretty deep in this one.:D

Well, update on my little part of the saga. Eagle has landed. I have my NETcom order in hand, but I'm not the happiest of campers. I tore Sun Cured Turkish right out of the package and loaded up a clearo. The first thing I noticed was that it was definitely lighter in color than the previous bottles I'd ordered. A side-by-side with the few ml of SCT I was saving for my dying vape was pretty stark. I've always ordered it with regular extract, since it packed a nice wallop and I felt no need to go for the extra (unlike some other NETcoms).

It doesn't seem to pack the throat hit and flavor punch either that I remember. It's definitely crisper and I taste the Turkish in the high notes, but it seems to lack the bass and depth I remember. Some of this could be due to a number of factors. It's brand new and out of the mail, but I remember the previous ones being fantastic right out of the mail. This one's mix date is 6/26, so it's had a few weeks to steep. Maybe the others were more aged when I received them? I don't know, since I don't have the bottles anymore. I've also been hitting Acadian Gold pretty hard today, which probably beat my taste buds a bit, but I remember being able to switch effortlessly between the two without ever missing out on the other.

However, none of this accounts for the significantly lighter color. Maybe a difference in crops since then, or filtration methods? I don't know. But I'm definitely missing the dirty, delicious SCT I remember. Needless to say, I'm not having the vapegasm I'd anticipated having right now. More to come...

Grats you got your order :) Did the USPS tracking ever update for you then ? Mines still saying "Electronic Information received", On the bright side of life my HHV order shipped today placed my order on friday, thats what I call decent service.

Yes, when I checked this morning, it was updated to arrived at my local post office, and updated to out for delivery shortly thereafter.

What did you get from HHV, if you don't mind my asking?

Hello everyone. I am a new member however been reading this forum for a while. It is very informative for someone like me who is somewhat new to NETs. Based on this forum I ordered and have since vaped my supply from net.com. I have since placed two additional orders so am happy to read that orders are being processed and I hope to get one of them sometime in August. I am patient so don't mind the wait. In the interim I placed an initial order with EtherVapes and have subsequently placed a second order which I have received. Also placed my first order of GeJ juices which I should receive this week. Just couldn't pass up the good sale and it gives me a chance to try another vendor.

When did you place the NETcom order that you expect in August, if you don't mind my asking?

If you like the NETs you've tried so far, I don't think you'll be disappointed with GeJ. Which ones did you get from them?

But seriously, why isn't Acadian Gold sold by the half-gallon with one of those food-service-sized dish soap pump dispensers for small bottles to take on the go?

That's one NET I'm very interested in replicating. It would pair very nicely with a golden cavendish, if my tastebuds and theory are correct- because I don't see Nick selling DIY extract any time soon... Imagine...VB with double extract.

Funny, I was reading these lines as I took my very first vapes of my just-received first-ever bottle of Acadia Gold.

No worries BaccyFiend. Do you think I am being too optimistic expecting my May order to come sometime in August? The July order I am thinking sometime in October.
Order #2350 placed May 5
Order #2615 placed July 3

With GeJ I kinda went on what I have read on this forum although some may disagree but that is OK plus what I read on their website. I went with 30 mil bottles of:
Patriot, Vita Bella, Acadian Gold and Analog

Welcome. Fifty percent off the already reasonably priced GeJ NETs was a great time to try them.

Tonight I found the setup to make my Blondie extraction really shine. 28 g Nichrome, 10 wraps on 1/16" drill bit, duals in a Phoenix v5. Came in at .57 Ω and wicked with Koh Gen Do cotton. Vapes cooler than it sounds and it's really bringing out all the nuances of this complex flavor.

Pure Grain Alcohol..

Well that dispels my own misconception as well. I thought it was a variant of PG.

I don't think we can easily obtain PGA in Australia but under the fine tutelage of Mftoms I completed a vodka maceration. I have waited for it to steep to give it a real try.

The trick is in knowing when to stop reducing it. On my first attempt I could still taste the vodka so I returned it to the warm water bath with the cap off and that did the trick. Overall, my extraction was reduced to 70-80% of the original solvent.

I'm with you, just spent the evening trying out the 7 GeJ juices I just received. The one that really rubbed me the wrong way was Vita Bella. Really not my thing, but I already know who will be receiving this bottle, as palates that will enjoy this kind of vape will go bonkers over it IMO. Not a huge fan of the Analog Tobacco or the Wild Turkey - again, personal taste preference. I have found that flavors that try to emulate analogs are generally not my thing, and I believe both of these fall in this category.

Natural Perique sucker punched me, kicked me in the groin, and then laughed at me as I lay on the ground crying. My palate is very sensitive, so keep this in mind as you read my impressions... but to me, that is a very potent, very powerful flavor. Children's book edition: the draw is a pipe, the aftertaste is cigar. Fantastic.

The other one that is a real standout is the Organic #1. I could not put my device down, I think I emptied out the whole Origen in one go - and, as drippers go, that's a lot of vaping. I think this is the "sweetest" of the flavors I ordered, and the smoothest.

Patriot and Acadian Gold are also becoming permanent fixtures for me.

I highly advise against a final judgment on Vita Bella before sampling at the 6 month mark. Store away 10 ml of it, shake once a week or 2, and then get back to us.

Whenever I filter extracts to lessen the gunk factor I seem to lose flavor. So I accept the gunk. I do however send a lot of my extracts out to others who have no love of gunk. So I pondered on this and came up with the idea of just pouring out the finished extract through a strainer and squeezing out the tobacco wrapped in x-fine vinyl window screen. I let the bottled extract sit on a warmer for an hour or so and put it away on the rotation shelf. As I get to them, I then filter the whole bottle twice. This has made a big difference in flavor retention with less gunk. So far so good with pipe tobaccos. Now to see how a cigar does using this method.

Wow, lot's of posting since I headed out. Too late to try to catch up, gotta get at least a little sleep. I'll backtrack tomorrow. I just got home after a really long ... day and had an AWESOME surprise waiting in my mailbox from Cherry!

He sent me some Just Criminal to sample, and threw in several goodies. Very cool man, very much appreciated!

Sweet Virginia! Mann sent me a tiny bit he had left from before it was on Ahl's menu. I thought it was pretty fantastic, but only had a small taste before sending it to El to sample. Now I get to spend some solid sessions with it.

And something completely new to me, Tobacco Haze from M&P! This has been on my list forever, I just haven't gotten around to ordering from them. Best part, it's well steeped which I hear is a very good thing for their TA juice. I'm pretty pumped to try this one!

A question on GeJ's Wild turkey. I haven't tried this on before. I got some along with some Patriot and VB, also a couple of their synths I never tried because Bull Durham was pretty good I figured I'd try Full Throttle and High Octane. Can I break open the Wild Turkey right away? The VB I put away for three months and the Patriot is good whenever but the WT I'm not familiar. Anyone ever tried the FT & HO?

boomer,

Don't take this as gospel, but my personal experience with most GeJ NETs---especially Wild Turkey and Fire-Cured---has been that I like them best when they're fresh. Yes, I even prefer Vita Bella fresh. So sue me. I don't know what it is about me and GeJ NETs, but whatever makes them yummy and special for me dissipates as the juices age. Two weeks of steeping is fine, but six months tends to kill them for me. FT and HO? I never had those.

Ooooooohhhhhhh fuuuuuudge!

"Only I didn't say "Fudge." I said THE word, the big one, the queen-mother of dirty words, the 'F-dash-dash-dash' word!"

I am going to vape Devil Dog tonight, like it has no tomorrow. I haven't had BGB since I received the one and only bottle I've ever had.

It was my second epiphany with NETs after Vaperite a couple of years earlier. I really loved that stuff. It was my first grassy pipe and I remember when I first Vaped it I found it striking in how it had an intense taste of freshly mowed lawn clippings.

It would be nice if WLAD shares his secret in creating aros because their discontinuation isn't just the end of a few flavours, but the end of a whole genre which was very unique.
