    Tell me what to buy, as seriously, I am DONE w/ these. I don't want to do this again. Do I need to have any concern as to the safety of this batt that won't turn off? This is making me nervous. I've read stories about these things "blowing up"... so to speak.

    NO.. I think I killed em. Got a burnt taste, then nothing at all. No power. Purple one does NOTHING, blue light won't go off on the silver one. And my carto looks flooded at the top. Oh brother. I don't have anymore EGO batts.
