    Question about RBA

Right now only the subtank and delta II offer coils and a rebuildable module if you don't want to buy coils or want to build to specific ohms. Depending on the size of your mod, be aware the subtank is larger so you might want to consider the mini. And yes, you'll save money rebuilding, as a...

Aspire Atlantis with a HCigar Nemesis clone? (First Mech mod)

Hey mate, sadly I'd avoid that battery. They're doing the same thing they did with their 35A battery, and listing wrong specs that sound impressive but are dangerous. Independent testing has shown it's max continuous discharge to be 6.4A (it's in german)...

    Radioactive e-liquids???

    Welcome! And yes.

    First Parallel Coil Build

Every build is going to be different depending on wicking and style of coil... but to answer your question, twisted in general doesn't give more surface area than parallel, it may actually reduce it -- but the design might produce more vapor due to it catching and holding eliquid in little nooks...

    Hi guys.

Hey mate, welcome! Most started with a basic setup. What're you using, and what about it is making you look at upgrading?

Kanger response to subtank insulator (going to PEEK)

Good catch on the silicone; edited, as that muddies the waters. My understanding was that silicone isn't what was spec'd to be used, and that it wasn't a problem batch -- they went a cheaper route and pluid claimed another victim. If I'm off on that and you can point me to something, please do.

    Kanger subtank or Atlantis?

Man, the whistle on this and the One are kind of killing me. It sounds like a 1980s asthma inhaler. It definitely looks like a solid option at an awesome price point, and so great to see more competition in the space.

More Protank mini 3 issues :(

Ruh roh, my first thought when I read that was that you were cross-threading, which is not a good thing and you'll eventually damage the threads in a big way. Here's a visual aid: I don't have one in front of me, but the scrunching makes me wonder if you aren't actually grinding the o-ring...

    Kanger subtank or Atlantis?

Quick addendum to myself; It looks like they're changing the insulator to peek (I figured delrin at the price point, so PEEK is a nice surprise): http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-vaping-discussion/644177-kanger-response-subtank-insulator-going-peek.html

Kanger response to subtank insulator (going to PEEK)

Hey mates! If you hadn't heard, a guy on youtube posted a video of the insulator on the subtanks RTA module (not the coils) slowly being dissolved by his pluid eliquid: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-vaping-discussion/640420-so-have-aspire-kanger-dropped-ball.html Long story...

    overheating problem

For the record, if I ever look like the shizznit, it's because 95% of what I know I picked up here or other forums, and standing on the shoulders of others makes you look taller. And because I am.

    overheating problem

COOKIE COOKIE COOKIE COOKIE COOKIE COOKIE Ah, gotcha. Yeah, I was going by cleaning not replacing the coils. That makes perfect sense to me, minus the skinny tube which I don't have in my head at all. Two questions: 1. Are these replacements single or dual coil? 2. Would you have the time to...

    Kanger subtank or Atlantis?

Sounds like you've done your research, but for flavor the subtank seems to be the winner so long as you're OK with the size and don't want to wait for the mini. I'm still keeping an eye on the RDA insulator, but aside from guy who decided to use pluid I haven't seen cinnamon roll melting it or...

    overheating problem

This is normal due to the way those tanks are designed, if eliquid drips from the coil at all a drop or so will be left on the battery contact. You're doing right by cleaning it when you change/switch, as if you don't it can help pull more eliquid out. Sometimes there's condensation and such...

    First Parallel Coil Build

Ayep, twisted also. e.g., if you''re doing a 1ohm coil using round/single, you'd need to double your wraps using twisted/parallel compared to achieve the same ohm.

    You're doing it wrong!!

People smoke for a lot of reasons, if cost isn't affecting him and he enjoys it you're kind out of luck -- and pushing too hard can have the opposite effect of reinforcing their self-image as a smoker, not a vaper. It sucks when you care about the person and feel like you're watching them slowly...

    New vaper with some conserns.

I don't want you to blow yourself up either. My undertanding is it should be 5V & 500mA adapter, which'll output 4.2V and 420 milliamps(mA). I *think*, but that's off the top of my head and I'm sleep-deprived. However I'm sure that to charge them at 1A+ is a bad idea. They will often be...

    New vaper with some conserns.

Hey mate! To your first question, you can't use just anything in that tank. If it is an evod, or evod-style, it is most likely made of polycarbonate and not glass, so many types of acidic eliquids will cause it to crack and degrade. Cinnamons and anise can be especially bad, but some of the...
