My goal in upgrading is more vapor and taste. As most of us. And dripper platforms I mean actual drippers. Good ones to build from.

Sounds like you've done your research, but for flavor the subtank seems to be the winner so long as you're OK with the size and don't want to wait for the mini. I'm still keeping an eye on the rda insulator, but aside from guy who decided to use pluid I haven't seen cinnamon roll melting it or anything.

I saw on Pete Bursardo's youtube channel today that the Aspire Atlantis is coming out with cotton coils. I have not heard that anywhere else as of yet. Also, you can buy a 5ml tank from Aspire that is SS all the way through.

Thanks mate, I hadn't seen that and I'll have to check that out as it's another confirmation they're switching, they said so a bit ago but via forums:

They said this around 2.5 weeks ago (Jan 3rd):

And then again on the 10th:

Those can't come soon enough for the health of the people using them, whether they care or not, and the health of the industry as the sooner they are gone the less likely universities will be using them to generate grant money for studies and headlines.

That's a big plus depending on how long the coils last. I'm hoping they can be rebuilt but watching the PB video it doesn't look promising. I'll find out when I get my mini.

If they are designed the same as the occ heads, rebuilding those is as easy as it comes. I can have one built and wicked in a minute, and that isn't an exaggeration. The trick is making your coil legs long, and going through the top hole, instead of trying to remove the press fitted top piece. Drop the coil in, run a 3mm bit through the wick holes to hold coil in place, arrange the legs, pin, and trim, pull out bit, put in wick, poke wick into the holes (that part is important... If you leave the wick out juice flow gets restricted and you get dry hits).....done. Easier then building on the rba head even.

Since I have seen the delta II 1/2hr review I was sold. The juice control is huge IMO because thick VG will have more room to wick. The video I saw the Guy was chain vaping at 50w like a Tug boat. And had outstanding cloud production, very thick and milky. He also cross examined the subtank and the Atlantis at different watts to rate performance and breaking points. The subtank seems to peak at 29-35 watts. The Atlantis 30-39. But the delta II was blowing like a champ at 50w. Its all stainless, cotton wicks, and ALSO has a RDA option. The guy said the performance was like dripping in tank form. And it is. 30.99$ on vapenw.com IMO I think its R.I.P subtank and Atlantis.

Joyetech Delta II Review On TVC: http://youtu.be/s-DXGH0JKck

Man, the whistle on this and the One are kind of killing me. It sounds like a 1980s asthma inhaler.

It definitely looks like a solid option at an awesome price point, and so great to see more competition in the space.

I just picked up the Subtank Mini at Discount Vapers. I was going to include the link but when I went back to get it they were gone! There's a few places that have it, just google it if you want one. I know Origin Vape had them last night.

ETA

Eric, at Discount Vapes, just sent me confirmation that the Minis are shipping with the new Peek Insulator.

I agree, the Atlantis performs good but you do need to push the wattage. The Subtank rocks at lower wattage which translates to better battery life. I prefer the Kanger in every way except size. I just ordered the Mini so that will take care of that. One thing I don't like about the original subtank is how restrictive the airflow is when using the RTA deck. I've heard that the Mini is much less restrictive and produces much better flavor.

We shall see.
